Universe Stunticons the Loophole way

Well with the universe Drag Strip coming out very very soon i have since decided that i want all of the Stunticons for the Universe line as they are my most favourite transformers, even if that means doing them myself.

The first one to get universed is Wild Rider who is a repaint of Classics Hot Rod so with a colour change and a slight modification to the bonnet here is Wildrider!! with his G1 counterpart just for some comparison :p

what sort of custom detailing would you suggest i was going to put a Decepticon symbol on the bonnet but that was about it

Almost be cheaper getting Classics Prime and repainting black and purple maybe?
Dead End could be done from Prowl/Streak with spoiler removed and a bit of retooling.

Motor Master = Nemesis Prime/ Shadow Commander
Breakdown = Sideswipe the head mould is gonna be better suited i think and the white limbs he has
Dead End = at the moment im gonna use Silverstreak
Drag Strip = The special edition one but im gonna use 2 to try slighly retool him

thats my plans anyway i wanna try and customise each one so its just not a straight up repaint :D

Yeah I figured Nem Prime is a little special but a Classics prime you can probably find for $20. Then there's the added bonus of claiming the paint job as your work and pride and joy.

thanks and yes im obtaining a couple of Drag Strips one for keeping original and probaly another 2 for modifying into 1 thats the plan but i think i will do breakdown next

Its been a LOOONG while but here is Breakdown still gotta do some fine touchups on him. lot of modifications when into him including a single exhaust for his gun which i forgot to put on for the photos :( but see if you can spot them all ;)

went for a straight white cause for one i just like the look of a nice clean white and i could also keep the white parts of sideswipe white without repainting them like his arms for instance and secondarly i couldnt of been assed trying to match up a colour closer to his G1 counterpart :D

Dead End is my next one and i have decided to use Alternity Convoy i was gonna repaint it but after transforming the silver one i bought there is no way im gonna do that cause it will just scratch the paint off all over the place :( so i might try to get the black version instead and just put some stripes on it and stick a different head on it.

The first time I saw alternity convoy I thought - decent mold for a Deaders repaint. :D Are you going to go with red strips like his Alternator form, or the more accurate yellow?

Well Ive almost done Dead End now a pretty simple custom but it does the job so i thought i would do a group shot still wanna make Drag Strip into a 6 wheeler and apply some faction symbols on all of them etc etc...

nope didnt paint anything i cheated and swapped parts over with the silver alternity convoy and then just put some pinstriping tape on him that i got from autobahn ;)

To be honest i cant remember how i did it ,.. it was so long ago now..

but after looking at him the hard part was gettin the pin out..

Once you get him apart u will see at the back of the windscreen there is a square shaped part that comes down at the back.. i used a chisel i think to cut grooves in this to allow for the bonnet to be able to swing up and down.

but best to look at it just like i did and figure it out from there ...

i broke mine in the process snapping one of the black hinges that u can see when looking at the rear of the canopy where the pin goes through .. but in car mode it los sweet with canopy up or down so i wasnt too fussed

well its been awhile finally got around to doing Drag Strip i did start to do a 6 wheeler version but that didnt really work out so i just decided to redo his head and leave it at that
