Since it's pretty much confirmed at this time they exist, might as well create a thread about them.

New details about the Transformers Micro Machines (https://news.tfw2005.com/2022/03/18/micro-machines-transformers-new-products-official-images-listings-452004) have surfaced, with some of them being available on Amazon (US)

The Micro Machines Bumblebee Playset (https://www.amazon.com/dp/b0973hbl4j/) which had been revealed before, but the amazon listing features new images, including how it's based off the Camaro Concept car from the 2007 Transformers Movie. Also comes with a Barricade figure (which is apparently exclusive to the set)
Micro Machines Transformers 2007 8-pack (https://www.amazon.com/dp/b0973hlwjx/), which features 8 Micro Machines based off characters off the original film (Optimus, Bumblebee, Jazz, Ratchet, Megatron, Starscream, Brawl and Blackout)
Micro Machines Transformers Revenge of The Fallen 8-pack (https://www.amazon.com/dp/b0973jnds9/), which features another 8 Micro Machines based off characters who appeared in ROTF (Optimus, Sideswipe, Bumblebee, Elita-1, Arcee, Jetfire, Starscream and Megatron

There's also still the Micro Machines Transformers Mystery Pack Playset & Vehicle sets (https://news.tfw2005.com/2022/03/01/micro-machines-transformers-mystery-pack-playset-vehicle-in-hand-images-and-identification-codes-450948), but they aren't on Amazon, and there's still no official word on them as of yet.
Update: With the blind box sets, it appears that the figures inside are different variants to the ones included with the 8 packs (https://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/new-inhand-images-of-transformers-micro-machines-blind-boxes/46738/).

Apologies my wording was quite bad. There is information about them online, but nothing official from either Hasbro or Jazwares.

Just noting - these are not made by Hasbro... they are licensed merchandise and made by another company, like Jada vehicles and Ooshie figurines.
As.such, for anyone interested in these, they are less likely to come to Australia because Hasbro has nothing to do with them.

Kinda good news for Australia... I got a reply back from the Australian importer of Micro Machines, asking them if they were going to be bringing in the Transformers themed sets, and this is what they said...

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are hoping to bring the Micro Machines Transformers sets into Australia, however this is currently a work in progress.

Watch this space!

So, not yet, but they appear to be looking to get them here (and we will have to wait to see how many of the sets they get in, if any).

As a recap for those interested, these are the sets so far known, that have been mentioned in this news topic so far...

The Micro Machines Bumblebee Playset (https://www.amazon.com/dp/b0973hbl4j/) , which is a large car playset with two Micro Machines cars.
Micro Machines Transformers 2007 8-pack (https://www.amazon.com/dp/b0973hlwjx/), which features 8 Micro Machines based off characters off the original film (Optimus, Bumblebee, Jazz, Ratchet, Megatron, Starscream, Brawl and Blackout)
Micro Machines Transformers Revenge of The Fallen 8-pack (https://www.amazon.com/dp/b0973jnds9/), which features another 8 Micro Machines based off characters who appeared in ROTF (Optimus, Sideswipe, Bumblebee, Elita-1, Arcee, Jetfire, Starscream and Megatron )
The Micro Machines Transformers Mystery Pack Playset & Vehicle sets (https://news.tfw2005.com/2022/03/01/micro-machines-transformers-mystery-pack-playset-vehicle-in-hand-images-and-identification-codes-450948), which is a set of 12 blind-packs with just 6 of them being Transformers themed.

It looks like the each of the 8-packs are made up of two 4-packs, as one 4-pack from each 8-pack has now been found at US Retail (https://news.tfw2005.com/2022/05/27/micro-machines-transformers-2007-revenge-of-the-fallen-4-packs-out-at-us-retail-457295), and they are numbered to suggest that the rest of the 8-packs will be released as 4-packs as well.
The ROTF 4-pack so far found is a really bad decision by Jazwares, as it has two tiny motorcycles, making it look like really bad value... when they should have had one motorcycle in each of the ROTF 4-packs so that it doesn't look as empty.

How cool would it be if they made Transformers Micro Machines set based on the G1 Micromasters? (cos it looks like CHUG's dropped the ball; might as well have vehicular Action Masters)

Not Micromasters, but Gen1...

Found in Asia at ToysRUs is a new (licensed) Micro Machines playset that turns into an Optimus Prime truck (https://news.tfw2005.com/2022/07/22/micro-machines-transformers-g1-optimus-prime-action-playset-found-in-the-philippines-461449), and comes with a Tracks car... which suggests that there will be more Gen1 vehicles to come.

And from an online source comes images of various Movie vehicles (https://news.tfw2005.com/2022/07/22/closer-look-at-upcoming-transformers-micro-machines-waves-for-aoe-and-dotm-461625) from movie 3 (Dark of the Moon) and movie 4 (Age of Extinction).

Whelp.

Snooezed on this with it in my cart for weeks. Sold out.

I wonder if they'll restock or if it's an eBay job. Never saw it listed anywhere else.

I'm just still waiting for them to get a release in Australian retail. Haven't seen any at Big W or Toymate. Hoping someone stocks them soon, because it's near impossible to import most of the sets from overseas.

The Australian importer of the Micro Machines had said some time ago that they were intending to have Transformers MM here at some stage, but they didn't have any confirmed details at that stage, or say how much of the range they would import here.
I might have to chase them up again for an update.

Optimus looks to be about the same size as Bumblebee, but is less than half the price. It looks a little bit simpler, but not that much to be so much cheaper... especially considering that Optimus would appeal more to those older fans who remember Micro Machines.

I have both of them and Prime is, surprisingly, much smaller than Bumblebee. I don't think either represent good value for their price, but they are priced consistently.
The photo posted above makes Prime appear larger due to the angle. No offense to Skyfire.

Yeah, I saw them both today at BigW near me, and realised that Bumblebee is indeed a lot bigger... but that 2-dimensional photo made it look like they were about the same size.
I also think that the more complex engineering and lots more parts to the Bumblebee playset, makes it necessary to be more expensive, even if they were the same size.

Picked up the Optimus set the other day; it's pretty decent for the price. It would be nice if the trailer could close with all the attachments connected, but them's the breaks. The trailer is taller and slightly longer than Earthrise/Kingdom Optimus' trailer too (looks as 'good' if not better too). Now I'm gonna have to collect the vehicles!

Yeah, this part really bugs me. The Star Wars Micro Machines sets from 2015 could close up without needing to detach 15 pieces from them. Feels like a step backward for me.

At this stage Big W are only ranging the two playsets, however we are working on hopefully expanding the range with them next year.

I guess that means we only have the two playsets here in Australia so far, and no guarantee for more. If we want to fill them out with extra vehicles any time soon, I guess importing them will be necessary.
I think that might also mean that BigW is the only retailer with them here, which would be a shame if true, as the Micro Machines brand is in other major retailers, and it would be good to have price and availability options.

The links in post #10 show that a lot of the multi-packs have been released in America at the beginning of the year, and the 8-pack of 2007 Movie toys is currently listed on Amazon Australia (https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0973HLWJX/) (as American import stock) for au$54... which is about $7 for each tiny vehicle... but if you take into account shipping from America, it would only be about half of that for each one.

There's no personality to the Movieverse altmodes.
