Cosmos and Slicer thanks. Other than that I'll be saving money it seems.
Slicer will be the first Shattered Glass for me, however he's really just Action Master goodness.... speaking of, where's our Action Master coloured Mainframe?
More RED figures we can't get locally :(
and Cosmos, Woo!! I'd like to see more pics, however from what we've seen he looks pretty special. While I don't want/need the flag, it's a pretty funny riff on Mario Kart that he's the announcer/official.

I like the whole Velocitron set. Its very much that cross-generation thing that Id want Legacy to be. Id prefer Cosmos to have a shorter alt mode but the robot mode is very good.

"Diaclone Universe Clampdown". Well well. I knew the toy was coming (pictures have leaked, after all), never thought they'd actually put Diaclone in the name. Just a shame they're starting this when they've pretty much run out of Diaclone versions to re-make :)
Prime Arcee didn't work for me, but I'm really liking the look of Road Rocket there, and I was not expecting that.
Burnout will of course join Clampdown and the others in my Dialcone section.
Cosmos, though, is the one I really wanted to see. Looks effing awesome (although those arms are definitely going to need fillers). Really happy with this one. And there's another minibot brought up to date. Only ten to go, and 3 of those will be minor re-tools and re-colours.

(so busy with stuff yesterday, I didn't see this stuff until the evening, and then I was too tired to host images and post them up)
That's a lot of toys in a single reveal.
Everything except the Shattered Glass toy will be Walmart exclusives in America (I will ask if they are coming here - the RED toys won't). It is a shame that we have new moulds as Walmart exclusives, because they hold on to their exclusive ownership of those moulds for a year or so... which is why the Netflix Bumblebee as a VW wasn't used later in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee 4-pack, because it was going to be at Target.
The Shattered Glass "Exosuit" is an odd addition, as it isn't given a proper name (is it sentient?), and is only included for a very weak homage to the vehicle that came with the original Actionmaster Slicer.
And RED Thundercracker... do we ever get Skywarp before Thundercracker from the redecos of Starscream toys?
The reissue of Maverick should be identical to the original release of the toy, but comes in a brand new box that has the new release date of the movie, and some different artworks.

The official reveal was left until the last minute for some reason, as the RED toys were found in Taiwan (https://news.tfw2005.com/2022/06/23/transformers-r-e-d-g1-thundercracker-and-transformers-prime-optimus-prime-megatron-revealed-found-in-t-458932) a few hours before the official reveal. As such, we have some in-hand pics already of the Prime leaders.
Also, from the instagram postings (https://news.tfw2005.com/2022/06/23/transformers-legacy-velocitron-reveals-official-in-hand-images-turnaround-videos-459187) of the Hasbro designers, the one who worked on Road Hauler said this...
Road Hauler has a bright color pallet from his original G1 release, so I tried to carry a lot of that influence through out this updated figure design, a make sure that he stood out from the fleet of previous releases. As a Decepticon turned Autobot, he has a classic Constructicon feel to him.
I don't think he has been a Transformers fan for very long if he thinks that a green Grapple was released during Gen1... and he is following the Legends comic concept of Road Hauler being a Constructicon.

G1 release is just a shorthand for the Road Hailer toy that was a G1 toy even if not released pre92, and didnt that toy say he was a Constructicon?
Thanks for adding the other photos. Very hard to do from a mobile!

Don't care for the Red stuff, all other figures are fine. Really like the Slicer. Is he only in shattered glass? Its a colour combination I have not seen before on a toy.
Is Maverick any different to the original release?
Cosmos looks really funky :D Think we will get a blue redeco?

On Instagram from one of the Hasbro designers (https://www.instagram.com/p/CfUqFADuQmS/), some commentary and images for Slicer...
Shattered glass Slicer and his Weaponizer Exosuit should find a spot in your collection, if you haven’t already, go preorder this cool team up to fill out your heroic decepticon army! But wait, he is a good guy…bad guy…no…another reason to purchase this lovely bot an get a copy of IDW’s new comic issue from the Shattered Glass series.
As some may know, Im into the old TF toyline action masters, so when the opportunity came to do a SG version of our beloved Wheeljack, I had to take a look back at the fabulous Botcon rendition that I believe @artguy101 had a hand in making.
I really was on board with what they did but I really wanted to pay homage to how awesome transformers with vehicles or “exosuits” were, especially coming off of the great success of weaponizer’s in Siege, I felt there needed to be a marriage here.
You will also see some concept art where I used alot of inspiration from energon downshifts weaponry, as that was the og mold for the botcon toy.
Yuki san at TT made it really come to life by adding in the articulation aspect to the weapons.
You can also see how I first thought a custom built mech suit from Cog would of been the move but no no, a 6wd off road weaponizer vehicle won me over. Especially because I wanted my Black Zarak to sport a Transformable spear.
More soon my fellow cybertronians!! Enjoy!
He says that he is a fan of Actionmasters, but some how got this one a little wrong, by having it in Shattered Glass. This blue deco of Wheeljack was a Decepticon called Slicer in Actionmasters, so if this one is called Slicer and is a Decepticon, it shouldn't be packed as part of Shattered Glass.
And if it was part of Shattered Glass, this blue deco in Shattered Glass is "evil Autobot Wheeljack", but this toy has a Decepticon logo on it, so can't be Wheeljack.
I think the designer has been confused by FunPub retconning their BotCon 2010 Actionmaster Slice homage toy, into Shattered Glass Wheeljack without changing its name.
Is it a homage to Actionmaster Slicer? No, because it is a Decepticon in Shattered Glass universe.
Is it a homage to Mirrorverse Wheeljack? No, because it is not an Autobot.
I don't get it... these types of toys are only created as "Fan service" and don't have to fit into a main retail toyline theme, but was he doing too much by trying to homage both characters and toys with this one toy, when he should have just stuck with giving us an accurate homage to just one of them.
I'm one of those few actionmaster fans, and have wanted homages of the toys that new characters in the Actionmasters toyline, so this one doesn't feel right to me, and the BotCon 2010 toy will remain as the only real Gen1 Slicer homage.
And I still don't get the reason for including Fasttrack with a "Fan-mode" that he is calling a vehicle... and not giving it a proper, as if "Exosuit" is a mindless drone.

Also from instagram from the designers (https://www.instagram.com/p/CfZ2WSJOFtS/), is Velocitron Cosmos... noted as being originally pitched as a minor remould of the Origin Bumblebee toy (swapping out three parts), but from the completed toy pictures, I don't see anything left of the original Origin Bumblebee toy.
Lets get into it! For capsule programs and the mainline as a whole, we have certain allocated funds for new molds. I wanted a Cosmos badly, to further finish the deluxe minibots collection, but just because I love this guy. His voice, design aesthetic, colors, and especially his alt mode are all 🔥
Swipe right and you will see how I sold him in as a partial tool using the Origins BB mold. He would of been more of a new rendition of him. I just didnt think a g1 version of him was possible with the tooling allocated. But TT made it happen All NEW in 3 molds!!!
Ittoku Kuwazu worked closely with Hasui Shogo in making this guy the best Cosmos evah! I chimed in on making the flag alt as a blaster and really worked hard on getting the proportions as close to his animation appearance as possible. As you can see from block model to final look, a lot had to happen. But with our great partnership this guy is ready to officiate the Speedia 500.

And then there was a bit of insight into Velocitron Override, on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/p/CfcoUaVuAhk/)... also claiming that this toy was only a partial remould of an existing toy (Voyager Studio Series Rodimus), and yet, once again nothing seems to have remained of the original toy.
At least on this occasion, the designer mentions that the original pitch was for a modified Hotrod toy, which he was expecting to end up giving Override a completely new look compared to the original from 2005, but the process resulted in a completely new figure.
It would explain why it is very small for a Voyager (priced) toy, but just like Cosmos, I think this would still count as a new toy... maybe with some recycled internal mechanisms perhaps.
This is a great example of what Legacy is all about, who would of thought we’d dig deep into the ol Cybertron series eh 😉! Everything is on the table!!!
.
Much like Cosmos, I had a initial sell in plan that would only require some new molds mixed with molds from the awesome Studio Series 86 Hotrod that @naveskoorb (https://www.instagram.com/naveskoorb/) worked on. It would of been a new look for her but Im glad TT brought out the cybertronian wizard staff and figured out a way to do her in 4 new molds, a voyager!! What!!!
.
You can also see some red line adjustments in sculpt I added after the detailed stage was accomplished using reference from the original animation series.
.
I apologize as I couldnt find the multiple renditions of the deco stripes I did for her. I’m not one for not following sculpt to ensure a great tampo design, but I felt in the end accuracy is the move here, so I did my best to match the og. Gorgeous paint applications on her and just the color scheme pops as you can see in the size comparison shot. The ruby red tint with the gold metallic hits and then to set it off with that pop blue…wooo weeeeeee!!

The Velocitron series has been showing up in America (Deluxe/Leader (https://news.tfw2005.com/2022/07/29/transformers-legacy-velocitron-deluxe-leader-class-toys-found-at-walmart-462333) and Voyager (https://news.tfw2005.com/2022/07/30/velocitron-speedia-500-voyagers-at-us-retail-462435)), so shouldn't be far from coming out here.
A photo of the master carton of Deluxes confirms what we feared most, in that the two toys that are most likely to be the most sought after, will be short-packed - Cosmos and Clampdown.
It is strange that they keep doing this when they know that master cartons hold 8 toys... and yet two of the Netflix waves had 5 Deluxes, and now the first wave of Velocitron has 5 Deluxes. (and if you remember, the VW Bumblebee was in the second wave of Netflix, and was short-packed... and was hardest to find... AND, those unique moulds/remoulds remain exclusive to Walmart for at least a year, which makes it even rarer for the near future)

More in-hand images of Cosmos (https://news.tfw2005.com/2022/07/25/transformers-legacy-velocitron-deluxe-cosmos-in-hand-images-462015)... because we can't get enough of him.
And some behind-the-scenes info from the designers (https://news.tfw2005.com/2022/07/25/transformers-legacy-arcee-road-rocket-flamewar-behind-the-scenes-images-information-462027)of the Legacy motorcycle mould that would become Arcee, Velocitron Roadrocket, and Shattered Glass Flamewar.
Hey guys, here is some behind the scenes development on the Deluxe Arcee, Road Rocket, and Flamewar.
Arcee’s inital design was kicked off by John Warden and the illustration shown here was done by @marcelomatere . You will also notice the energon weapons that were drawn by @santalux75.
Now you know I dig action masters, so I was trying here for an Axer as the alt head. After talking it over with Yuki san at Takara, he had an amazing suggestion, he wanted to do a RoadPig or a RoadRocket alt head as a female ninja to go along with Arcee’s motif. I was onboard for the Road Rocket and off we went.
You can see some of my hardlines over the sculpt to add some tings here and there, adjust some sizing, and add some sculpting flare . You can also see some design inputs I did for the alt head with the details to get her tires on her shoulders, which was a definite must.
You will also see some early concepting done to figure out a crossbow attribute for Flamewar. I really like to get my hands on stuff and play out the fantasy. I always pictured her as a Shattered Glass Arcee personally, but to provide another strong character in the comic the team felt like it was a strong play. The shattered glass universe has been a real treat to work on and Im glad everyone is really digging it.

Well, my Velocitron stuff arrived today (very surprisingly quick delivery from Singapore - it only left the country last Thursday).
The boxes were a welcome surprise - quite a bit smaller than usual. Wish Hasbro would do this with all their toys.
Cosmos is every bit as fun as the pictures made him seem, and some of the transformation, such as the head flip (have not watched any videos), took me by surprise. Not often a HasTak design does that.
There's my next few evenings sorted, opening and transforming the rest :)

I've only ever seen full character cases go to European/UK stores. I don't know why they are different over there, but maybe some European retailers will only order certain characters, rather than whole waves.

I would assume globally Amazon gets single-character cases to make their in-warehouse logistics easier to manage. With their massive turnover in their warehouses, there would be little time to teach a picker the difference between each of the figures in a regular case.

I believe that's for Amazon Marketplace sellers so they can identify the stock belongs to a specific seller.
