What mold is Vortex?

Interesting Onslaught mods to Prime

Is that the same Superion we saw a bit back?

Not bad at all!

Vortex looks like Armada Cyclonus to me

I like the Onslaught & Blast off, the rest look terrible.

I'm not feeling it either unfortunately. Its still a nice combiner though. I think Onslaught looks particularly awkward in both modes. So does Vortex. Does not look like him at all. On its own merits as a random combiner, I'm more impressed. That said, I don't like 3 of the said molds very much - Crumplezone, Classics 1.0 Deluxe Megatron, and Astrotrain.

That "giant weapon" adds the beauty to bruticus!
And the last pic with prime and nemesis prime is nice action pose! :)

Yeah I also did think so.

I like the mod done to classics Optimus, very clever.

it's a real nice custom, but not one that I wish I owned.

I think it looks great especially the huge gun!

But at $699, why is it so pricey? Actually, leme rephrase, what makes custom mades so expensive?

Hours of painting, repainting, molding ( if there needs be) and even before that brainstorming till your head hurts how to modify a certain figure, sweat, effort, sleep and other gadgets they may have to use, electricity, unpaid rent and mortgage, baby needs new diapers and milk, broken relationships ( well not really :p). These are some that I can think off. Or as the thread title says just plain "Crazy"... talented people but crazy heheheh. Yeah I too think its rather expensive.

Very nice, indeed :)

This model follows a growing trend of customs being called 'Masterpiece' by their makers. Sometimes they aren't worthy of the title, though this looks like it could be but I'm still not sure if that is a wise move on a whole lot of levels...
