I bought a Prime Dead End off ebay that was missing its right forearm.
I had a junker Prime Wheeljack that I had customised into a DOTM Mirage, and then a MTMTE Getaway before abandoning it, so decided to do a limb transplant.
It had about two coats of paint on it, so I started with the rubbing alcohol and turps (not at the same time).
Alas the window didn't like it - it folded off the arm, then snapped in half. Arg.
Superglued it together and the crack's not too visible, but I treat it very gently now.
I had also drilled a hole in the arm panel for Mirage's blades, so that needed filling too. You can see it if the light hits it at the right angle.
Oddly enough the grey was the hardest colour to match.

And voila. After this pic I realised I hadn't painted the base of the window and did so afterwards.

Considering the strange colours, you managed to colour match them quite well.
