Hi all,

Thanks and I have had the time to think about the matter. If in hind sight, all is a joke, I can take that...

So all is good and if everyone would like to start fresh, let me introduce myself. Kelvinchang99 is the alias I use and its also my name.. except for the 99 bit.

So, I have nothing to hide and I have used this name since 1999 for my online alias. hence, the 99 bit.

Anyway, looks like everyone is warm and are TF fans on this board. I dont know if I can contribute much as I am sure everyone's an expert on the matter.

I only got into these figures after the movie came out .. before then, when I was 10, but always had the figures in my heart...

The movie reignited my flames for the figure and I started collecting again today. I did try to collect everything under the sun when I first started, but I then realised I wanted things that were special.. and somewhat unique.

Hence, I kept only the base and combiners series and began customising using parts from my other transformers.

Since I started customising, I have been fortunate enough to meet people along the way.. Initially, a customiser by Vert, then Chih (you did a forum topic about him - hottest customiser in the market today as well as Jin Saotome), then teamdeath, Devastator, Menchoy, Boskoes and MarksProject...

So, I guess I have been fortunate enough that I know these people and can get Custom commissioned and sometimes, even be the source of ideas for them to come to me for new parts. I had Chih last week ask if he could model a Brawl on my paint job on Warpath... So that was pretty special... And also, the Nem prime, we worked on the idea together.

So this part of my world is quite fun and I am glad you guys like some of the customs you see that I have done.

Yes, I have 1 ebay item up and have been offered to sell on several sites. But I am still thinking if I am up there with the rest of them yet.

To clarify a little further, the whole Mohammed Chan thing originated with me. It's a long running joke Goktimus and I make... which has filtered through the Sydney fandom a little.

I still can't convince Goktimus to name his first born Mohammed, sadly :p

Thank you for the warm welcome.

Stencilator, would love to discuss customs with you and share ideas and anyone else on the board interested in customs TF.

I have been working last night on a repaint.. Minor one, with the Nightwatch Movie prime. All the grey plastic have now been repainted to metallic boltgun silver (slightly darker silver).

Works well and will update some images in soon.

Looking for my next project, will advise what that will be.

1Orion, not sure your age but hey we're all young at heart to be part of this forum and our TF retro memories. So cudos to you for staying true to TF :).

Welcome and hope you get used to the "rowdy-ness" around here.. I'm the only girlie here at the moment and I also "get teased" from them sometimes, so just don't take it to heart. At most I pout and sulked back to them on your behalf. :D

Oh by the way, love your personal collection! And AAAAHHHHH you have 2 Trypticons! My favourite which I have yet to get it yet.. :( Fort Max is looking good too!

I am really keen on Galvatron but still putting it to the drawing.

This is not my galvatron.. but something I found on the web. Wish it was though... I wouldnt dream of taking credit for this..

I am not sure why my images sometimes dont come up.. Probably coz the pages are hosted in the US.

Anyway, maybe try a few times... it might come up.. Some people can see it, some cant.

Wrek-Gar... that is something new.. I will see if I can find a good base for this figure.. Thanks for the suggestion Orion.

A car Arcee!!!!! That would be a very interesting custom. Hastak has yet to produce any decent car Arcee... Even if they issued out tons of them bike types, it's not the same as a G1 type car Arcee :)

Thanks The_Damed... I remember.. you sent me a PM. Yeah, the Metrotitan is holds a special place. Have you gotten yourself one?

Just_Mel.. Great to hear you love the Trypticon.. Actually the other one is a different name to Trypticon although same mold. Its called Gigastorm. Goes for around $80US on eBay and available from time to time. Its a nice figure.

1Orion, the Warpath is a little more than the G2 Megatron and Armada.. Lets see if you can spot it.
