I live alone. No Xmas tree. It's not like I'll be here on the 25th anyway. So yeah...

On the subject of Christmas trees, has anyone ever gone beyond traditional decorations and decided to make an alternate themed tree? I was in Myer a few weeks ago and saw some decorations that had striking resemblances to Yoshi eggs and Super Mario mushrooms.

got a christmas tree the other day
only to realise that the decorations are still in Sydney:o:D
Luckily a relative is coming for Christmas, so the tree will probably look very sparse

Our temporary residence is so cramped and cluttered with toys, comics and furniture that we don't have room to even put a Christmas tree up for my kids so they have to bask in the glow of relative's Chrissy trees.
I am such a failure.:(

i think ive had 2 christmasas without a tree
once was cause we were overseas
the other was 2007, we had just moved to the Perth base and was still sorting boxes and stuff.
You could do the PC thing and tell them the tree is on 'the inside' while touching them in the heart

Don't say that digger. I don't even have a tree, or a job, or a GF, or even a Fortmax. And who's the failure? I'm also very drunk lol:D

A real tree for a real man!!!
unfortunately, my family could only bring a few decorations over, and once again the cats enjoyed knocking the baubles off and climbing up the tree.

It's a small tree - and believe it or not, it's two pieces. It literally takes less than a minute to set up and dismantle. ;)

Ho Ho ho mr funny...Not!!!:D
My folks made the star before i was born, out of cardboard coke o cola box
and some of our decorations must be from the 1930s we have 2 little birds with a fake bird nest. They are mega cool, but are soooo old and a bit thread bare. We also have a real birds nest that we found abandoned in our garden.
Most of the decorations on this years tree are from my primary school days
Bought the tree from work, but the f,rs cant give me a discount cause of their commission cut or somethin
