Robot mode comparison with Beast Wars Snarl (identical to the original Tasmania Kid toy)

Tasmania Kid's robot mode is more like the Beast Wars 2nd cartoon model than the original toy.

A few slight departures from the show model include:
* waist is brown instead of black
* tail weapon is entirely brown instead of black with silver barrel
...but given that this is just a Core Class figure, I'm fine with this.

Not many Transformers can actually cross their arms.

Beast mode comparison w/ BW Snarl. Colours aside, Legacy Tasmania Kid looks a lot more like an actual Tasmanian devil than the original toy, which just looks like a generic dasyurid.

The jaw is formed from the robot's heel spurs. The robot chest is faux jaw kibble.

This toy has a surprisingly complex level of transformation for a toy of this size; rivalling and, in some parts, even exceeding the complexity of Kingdom Rattrap (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php/27584-Toy-Review-RATTRAP-(Kingdom)). The parts count alone makes it well worth the Core Class price point, but on top of that, it is a nice update of the original toy. Much like Legacy Lio Convoy (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php/29492-Toy-Review-Maximal-LEO-PRIME-(Legacy)), Legacy Tasmania Kid has given us a more realistic looking beast mode but sporting the character's cartoon colours. Well worth the price of admission - highly recommended.
