Just like his e-Hobby counterpart, Treds' colours are based on Warpath's prototype G1 colours (see image below). I personally much prefer this deco as it looks more like a tank you'd see in combat. Some tanks use a red undercoat, but red isn't the finished colour for that tank; that's why sometimes you might find reddish tanks in museums, but I've not found any images of tanks in action coloured red.
I also do like how Treds comes with a Decepticon insignia tampographed on his chest. Something that bugged me with Kingdom Warpath was the lack of faction logo on his robot mode (hence why I put a sticker on his belly). As a straight-up repaint of Kingdom Warpath, Treds inherits all the pros and cons of the original mould. His robot mode is the most similar to Warpath's cartoon-model, but I find getting the tabs for the driver's canopy to tab in correctly to be frustratingly fiddly.

Overall this is a nice toy in its own right. As part of a $130 3 pack, I would have to say that it's only worth buying if you're also interested in Pathfinder and/or Smallfoot, or if you're willing to go to the effort of selling unwanted figures. I'd like to collect all of the e-Hobby Go-Bots characters as CHUG toys, so this set is great for me. Now all we need is Bad Boy!
