I've been out of the collecting scene for transformers since the end of the TF2 movie, so haven't been keeping up with the info.

Is the grimlock takara masterpiece or is it the hasbro equivalent?

$150 is still a little bit steep.

Toys R Us is certainly not cheap. I wanted to buy the Buzz Lightyear (Toystory hype and all) but ended up not getting it.

Yeap, it's pretty frustrating especially when you just know the shelves are going to be positively bulging with new DotM crap just before the movie hits...Imagine seeing a shelf with, say, 20+ Wreck Gar's...That would be the life!
