That's alright, I went to TRU Gepps Cross today and picked up one.

I also saw the ROTF Shanghai Showdown boxset with the Deluxe Ice Cream Truck Twins and White Demolishor for $69.99.

TRU Tea Tree Plaza is filled with HEAPS of recon ravages, I don't need it cos I already have the original Ravage. They are also new box upright variants of ROTF Voyager Prime, with him in robot form and standing.

Kmart Noarlunga still has a heap of the new NEST deluxes i.e. Lockdown, Brawn, Ratchet and Strike Mission Sideswipe plus I saw a couple of Swerve (Red Sideswipe) and Tuner Mudflap.

Noarlunga Big W had nothing new however they have put out some more of the last wave of animated deluxes i.e. Blazing Lockdown, Swindle and Blur.

I ended up getting Mixmaster. Good choice, it's a complicated figure to transform but the effort is well worth it, meaning money well spent. I'll still get the movie leader Megatron but that's when I get paid again.

Well on Sunday I went down to the Fisherman's Wharf Markets and I found a vendor that had plenty of G1 figures, both originals and encores. He had G1 Primes for $175 complete, $275 G1 Devvy, $450 ORIGINAL SKYFIRE!!! :eek: and plenty of other G1 figures.

I've been searching for ROTF Voyager Long Haul for a while now, I live in the North-Western suburbs and have checked most of the shops in those regions (KMarts, Targets, TTP, Arndale, Port Adelaide, West Lakes, TRU Gepps Cross, Big Ws) but have had no success. Has anyone seen one around their areas?

Noarlunga Big W have put out the RotF Voyager Mindwipes and Defender Optimus Primes plus more of animated deluxes i.e. Blazing Lockdown, Swindle, Blur and even Bumblebee.

There a few Mindwipes at Port Adelaide KMart for $49, I was just there today around 3:30PM. Mindwipes and Defender Optimus Prime.

The Rundle/Pulteney Corner Target has no newer ROTF Voyagers, just one The Fallen. But it did reduce the Star Wars Transformers prices down to a mere $15, but I only saw three left - a Battle Droid/AAT, a Y-Wing Bomber/Anakin Skywalker, a Magna Guard/Magna Guard Space ship. Also, I saw a two-pack Legends of the Autobot Twins for about $13 at Target CBD. Only one left. And there are plenty of Leader Jetfires and at least 1 Leader Optimus Prime. The NEST line Battle BUmblebee and Soundwave two-packs are priced at $40, was tempeted to get it but figured I better save my money because I already have those characters but in different molds.

And the rumours about Target reducing the price of Universe Optimus Prime and Crumplezone boxsets to a $50 doesn't seem to apply to this Target or the Target on Main North Road.

If anyone is looking for ROTF Voyager Starscream, there are about 3 left at Big W Arndale.

Today I also visited TRU Gepps Cross. There are still the old wave Deluxes (up to Gears, but no Thrust), and the prices of Universe Ultras have been reduced. Decepticon Bruticus is only about $30 (FOR AN ULTRA!), while others like Darkwing and Countdown (Countdown was in the summer toys section for some reason) are $50 as opposed to $70. There are still some Shanghai Showdown sets left. Also, Animated Leaders like Black Megatron, Bulkhead (green truck?), and Megatron are ONLY $40.

I bid you luck in getting Mindwipe Sofaman!!!!

I actually saw mindwipe with the optimus redeco in TTP Target last Tuesday when I went to pick up the Wheelie/Sideways pack. With the Target current 20% off sale, he should be around 40 right??? Given that he's still there at least...

I haven't seen any Bludgeons up in the Northern/Western Suburbs, or as in the city obviously. And yeah, it makes you wonder if Toys R Us were thinking 'geez, shouldn't we have a bit more variation on our shelves' lol

I noticed on the Collector Club store website, that they had a couple of pre-orders for some older NEST figures (Dirge, Armorhide), paired with new figures(Evac, red Rampage), so it could mean that a case assortment soon might indeed have them. But there might not be many next time around either, since Hasbro won't want too many Dirges still on the shelves by the time the Jetblade redeco is released mid-year.

Bludgeons are appearing in Big W's in NSW (at least a couple of stores) so keep your eyes peeled, they should be showing up more widespread soon I imagine.

I got mine from Munno K-Mart a while back, and was the only one I saw. Never saw Armorhide though, which I want =o( So yeah, I am both assuming and hoping that they (like the Soundwave/Bumblebee preview wave) get redistributed in future assortments.

I went to TRU GEpps Cross today and found out they don't do this specific deal.

I did see however, Universe Ultra and Deluxe Double-Packs for only $50. The only double packs I saw were Springer+Ratbat and Dirge+Autobot Roadbuster.

I also speculate that the new line of Transformers should be hitting our shelves considerably soon, as I saw official cheaper, hard-plastic masks for Movie Prime and Bumblee with the new Transformers label (looks similar to the Transformers Generations Design)

I got that boxset at TTP Target for $48 about a month back, why do Targets have different clearance prices from store to store? Makes it hard for us to report sightings/prices when they vary. Glad I got it though, Crumplezone is alright, his alt is cool and decent bot, but Prime rocks! (imo) I don't have any Cybertron stuff, nor do I plan to, but just as a Prime, I love it, and actually prefer it (red and black) over the original Cybertron Prime (red and blue).

I know how you feel about Masterpiece Prime, I wouldn't be too keen on mail for something like that. $320 is pretty steep, but yeah, if it's got an issue, you can take it back instead of paying for postage again to return it. I kinda got a dud from Target, as it turns out the Target-sold ones were basically re-taped defect returns from the Japan market (so I'm told), so mine had a fairly average paint app, a couple of issues with the leg extenders, both light pods missing, the attachment plate of the energon axe missing, and slight wear on the chrome tanks on the legs. So getting one in person would be very handy in case anything like this occurs. Unfortunately for me, it was the last one Target had, so no swappy for me =o(

I don't need Ice Cream Twins or Thrust, but I've heard that the Twins are highly sought after though, maybe you could sell it on the board or on eBay for a higher price ;)

Yeah I spotted the Generations Deluxe Line at Big W Arndale too, only had Thrust, Autobot Drift and Cybertronian Bumblebee. No Prime seen :( Oh well, since I'm on a budget I only grabbed Thrust and Drift. The plastic quality on Thrust seems a bit more brittle than Robots in Disguise Ramjet, which are almost the same body mold except for Thrust's back wings and hover packs. Has anyone else noticed this somewhat subtle change in plastic quality recently in the newer lines of toys? (even my ROTF Deluxe Thrust had tighter parts and loose wings than his retool counterpart Breakaway)

Also grabbed some Tomato Juice as well to try it for the first time, and let's say - I don't intend to drink it in a very very long time...

Yeah I'd wait till Devastator goes on sale. I bought it full price the other day - it's okay considering that there's 15 modes (7 robot, 7 vehicle, 1 devastator) total but it doesn't look as accurate as the supreme class version. I'm actually considering getting the supreme class when it goes on sale, even if each part doesn't have individual robot modes. I'm just that size-picky :D

Yeah judging from the pictures over at the June Acquistions thread I was relieved to find out that the toys the other members bought (Animated, G1) were not the ones I was after (mainly ROTF line and newer line). I went to TRU TTP today and voilah! Found one Dead End for $18!
Bought it right away but I could feel my wallet pinch me after I put it back in my pocket.

Loophole is right. Sorry guys I should have been more specific. The BMF is the Big Millenium Falcon that was released a year or so ago for Star Wars 3.75 figures. The BAT-AT is the Big AT-AT vehicle mainly from Empire Strikes Back and also a cameo in Return of the Jedi

Well, I got SS, but they didn't have Skids at Ingle Farm =o( Btw, this may sound dumb, but is anyone here considering getting HA BB during this sale? And if so, do you or do you not keep boxes? The reason I ask is this; When I bought my HA BB it was when they were first released in Australian K-Marts, so my box is the diorama style box, yet this current wave has the much smaller design. The thing is, I'm a very 'uniform' type, and I like my collectibles in a uniform style for neatness. So if anyone is planning on getting HA BB and doesn't want the box, I can give it an much better home than the bin =o) And yes, I know I'm strange =oP

On a HA-unrelated note for any fellow TRU shoppers apparently they're giving out a $5 off voucher attached to the end of the receipt if you complete an online survey for Toys R Us. Went to TTP Big W today... not a lot there (except crowds of Mums and their over-sized trolleys blocking the aisle).

They had heaps of the various WFC platforms (all on special), as well as a lot of the new ROTF/AA figures.

I had intended to go to Marion but that got pushed aside till Saturday, but I did go to West Lakes and their K-Mart has plenty of the Human Alliance figures (Skids, Sideswipe and Bumblebee) and now they stock the HTFD Voyagers, Scouts, Decepticons, Legends and the PCC line. The cheapest PPC toys now that I know of are from Big W!

Given that school holidays have started, how long do you think the new HFTD scout toys (huffer and brimstone) and PCC toys (2 packs and 5 packs) will last on the shelves, especially during toy sale time? I actually started collecting toys during September 2009 so I've had no experience with the toy sale time of the year. Will the shelves be mostly empty by the end of the holidays/sale time or will some toys still be there? :confused:

I know that K-Mart has just started stocking HFTD and PCC very recently and Big W has done so to. I guess I should be fine assuming that Target will start stocking these new toys considering they haven't done so yet...

SIGHTINGS: WAVE 3 HFTD at TARGET Sefton Plaza (only 1 Terradive left, a couple of Electrostatic Jolts) and plenty of Wave 1 figures.

Target Fulham Gardens has got PLENTY of Wave 1 HTFD figures, still stocking old waves of ROTF Legends (Jetfire, Sideswipe), plenty of Animated Voyager Primes (couple of Bulkheads) and still some ROTF Scouts (ejector etc).

at harbourtown yes, didnt seem like anyone was going to buy them - sunday tomorrow is the last day for toyworld's catalog sale. (which harbourtown is matching) you should call them and get them to hold it for you if you plan to get them from here.

TTP Big W has the last wave of ROTF Deluxes on Clearance (Lockdown, Ravages, Ratchets, Alliance Bumblebees), has 1 Sidearm Sideswipe, a couple of Tuner Skids left. The HFTD Wave 1 deluxes are also on sale here too for $19 (Jetblade, Sea Attack Ravage)

K-Mart has the 2-pack Soundwave and Bumblebee ROTF Deluxe Pack at its cheapest (below $40 this time, I forgot whether it's the $33-37 mark).

Target TTP also had the HFTD deluxes on sale too, but at an expensive $24 each (had Jetblade, Sea Attack Ravage, Battle Blade BUmblebee and Deluxe Ironhide).

TTP TRU doesn't have any new toys, same ol Wave 1 Generations and last of ROTF Deluxes left.

Try Target Sefton Plaza, that was where I picked up Terradive and Tomahawk but I picked up the last of them (this was a fortnight ago). As for price matching, I don't know it Target does that against Big W.

Fair enough... I've just never been refused (and I used to work at Target for many years, and I never saw customers get refused). That's just business suicide imo!

Anyways, Kmart had Generations Megatron and Darkmount tonight. I didn't get Megs - he really looks quite disappointing in person! I may end up getting him, but I was so underwhelmed when I took him to the checkout tonight, that I actually stopped, turned around, and went back to hang him back on the peg in the toy section.

Guess I'm just hanging for Dirge...
