Encore Meister

According to several sites, Encore Meister is going to have a "remolded" head (sounds like it's going to be the one from reissue Stepper, instead of the silly grin face), and he's also going to come with Laserbeak! Weird...:confused:

Also, does anyone know if he's up for pre-order at HLJ yet? I've read on a few different sites that people have placed pre-orders on HLJ for him, but I can't find the item. Does anyone have a link?

Well, I can't find it anywhere at all! So I'm not sure what some people are writing - maybe they've just confused the sites, but I thought I'd check with you guys here.

I would be surprised if it came with Laserbeak considering that Encore Soundwave already came with one. Hrmm...

The new head is what has drawn my interest. I have an original restored G1 Jazz in decent condition but its chrome was all gone so I painted his chest Silver. It looks better than worn chrome but it looses the shine.

It doesn't seem logical at all. The only thing I can think of is the episode called "Countdown to Extinction", where Jazz catches and plays Laserbeak on his stereo to find out what the Decepticons are up to...

There must not have been enough interest for this character. Stupid how they remold his head and not fix Ironhide, Ratchet etc.

Why?

They've remoulded the mouth (not the head) to make it more accurate to the original 1984 G1 Jazz because previous Jazz reissues have featured the G2 "sh**-eating grin."

Encore Ratchet and Ironhide on the other hand already do feature their original G1 heads. For better or worse, Encore Ratchet and Ironhide's heads are very accurate to the original G1 toys.

I just can't get excited by this. Repaint after repaint from Hasbro and errors from Takara-Tomy (hello MP series) make this sound very sus to me.
