I do hope they make this into a toy.

Not bad, not bad at all. I'm relieved to see that he still has a microscope type alt mode.

Me too. That transformation wasn't what I expected but it's great.

...a cross between a 4WD and a microscope... man... it's like a vehicular Fuzor!!

He looks good in all 3 modes. The Microscope isn't as big of a stretch as I thought it would be.
The only thing now is if they can pull it off as a toy. I am really struggling to see him keep his proportion in robot mode. I just find it hard to see where the bulk of the 4WD goes in robot mode

I wonder if hasbro can make his ocular function as a real viewing scope??..

...at that size I'd expect it to be an electron microscope (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electron_microscope) instead of a light microscope (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optical_microscope) like G1. Being an portable electron microscope would be pretty cool. :) It'd also be a neat G1 reference if the barrel could also function as a cannon and also additionally cool if it could also work as a telescope (G1 Perceptor used his barrel as a telescope as well).

Does look pretty good in two of the three modes (not liking the robot mode as much). Can't wait to see how a toy turns out, if they decide to do one.

Eh, the ute mode is OK (pretty boring though) but the third mode is a bit of a stretch. Why transform into a 'mobile computer lab with telescope' of a size only suitable for humans to use? If perceptor needs people to do his scienctific work for him, then something's seriously wrong.

Looking great. The lab alt is ok but not gonna complain over a bonus. Both vehicle and robot mode looks great. I hope it translate into a toy pretty well though.

Unless it's scanned from a mobile lab on Earth and it's just his Earthen disguise. Technically the Transformers don't need cockpits, drivers seats, controls etc., but it's all part of their disguise. What makes less sense is how they have cockpits etc. in their Cybertronian modes! That's something that the live-action movie addressed - if you look at movie Megatron and the protoforms, they don't have any pilot compartments.

Either that or we'll see Animated Diaclones. ;)
