Only a vehicle mode photo of both, but you can get an idea of how both will look different to each other, when they eventually get released.

Is it just me or does Universe Ratchet have a repainted version of Universe Prowl's police strobe lights? (O_O)

I do like the stripes pattern on Universe Ratchet more than Henkei's but Henkei has superior paint finishes overall and the chrome works well on the weapon.

Henkei prowl also appears to have the same lights as Red Alert, or the other way around. What ever floats your boat

The heart beat on the side of Universe Ratchet win's, but the Henkei version is overall better.

That seems to be more of an American thing to me. I've never seen the "heart beat" design on a Japanese ambulance, nor on an Australian one for that matter. Oh well, each makes sense in terms of their intended markets. ;)

I prefer the traditional (and now politically incorrect ) Red Cross.

I am sure Reprolabels will release a sticker set with crosses.

...how is the Red Cross Organisation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Cross) (or more accurately, organisations) politically incorrect? Mind you, when I placed the Red Cross on my Ratchet cosplay, a lot of people thought I was barracking for England! :p

Using the Red Cross (or Red Crescent etc) is not allowed unless you are The Red Cross because otherwise it devalues the protection meant to apply to people wearing that emblem. Read the Symbols of the Movement section on that Wikipedia page you linked to, or the page about the symbols (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emblems_of_the_International_Red_Cross_and_Red_Cre scent_Movement#Use_of_the_emblems).

All medical kits and similar things nowadays have a green cross on them.

I agree, but I don't know if I'd classify it as "politically incorrect" though.

Why were they commonly used before?

Edit: I read the link. It's more of 'corporate correctness' than political but it still equally sucks.
