I just pulled out my spare skydive for someone who shall remain nameless :p

but the thing is, it has a completely diff trademark on it to mine. Was checking coz i have a knockoff floating around and didn't want to dissappoint.

So, variant pages say there are 2 different versions, one stamped HASBRO 85, TAKARA 85, JAPAN. The othe HASBRO 85, TAKARA 85, MACAU (and i'm guessing classics has TAKARA covered over like all the classics i've seen)

This one however has 1985 HASBRO INC, All Rights Reserved, Made in china.

No takara, and not covered over......

and also noticed som e slight differences.... like no "bands" around the pokie bit on the end of the wing.

Overall looks alittle knock-off-ish, but has the stamps, metal chest.... sticker residue from where ancient rubsign was... but saying that, the known knockoff i have has the bands around the wing thing....

So please guys, rush off and check your skydives for me please.... stamps on the right wing (robot mode right)

Erm my Skydive has the same stamp as your first one Hasbro 85, takara 85, japan. But having owned KOs of the aerialbots before back in Phils, I would say that i have not known a KO to have metal chests. They are all plastic AFAIK. Must be a later issued variant... not 100% sure though. But yeah KOs= no metal chest at all.

I'd check my Classic version but it's too hot to get all the tubs down and sort through them... Can you wait until it gets a bit cooler?

All the classics figures i've ever seen have a hasbro and takara stamp, but the takrar section has been blocked out.... so i'm fairly sure this isn't them

Stuff like the Aerialbots during G1 (minibots too) were manufactured in many different parts of the world. Its possible that yours is a Chinese release but still official.

I'm lucky that my TF room faces east so it doesn't cop the afternoon sun. ;)
