Classics 'e-hobby black starscream' aka Sam Sparro

Ahah!
This is the definition of spontaneous custom!
I was sitting down the other day in the heat - thinking that - it would be a good idea to make a custom out of this spare Skywarp that I bought off jacksplatt- SO! Here it is!

I wanted a black Seeker cause it'd be heaps simpler considering Skywarp was black - but I wanted something that was consistent with the Henkei deco - AND I needed colours that work with black - so I picked gold! And I figured that to complement it and to work as the 'white stripe' that's seen on the henkeis I could go silver with that -

BOOM! 2 days later and it's done - except that I forgot to bring the feet to work so I could assemble the sucker in the early hours of the morning. So it took me to last night to put him together properly and do the touchups required.

Also, cause I'm not much of a fiction buff, I didn't come up with a back story nor techspec for the fella - when showing the custom around at work, my colleague asked me what the custom's name was - and cause of that Black & Gold song, this guy is unofficially known around these parts as Sam Sparro. Lol.

So - I also posted the initial jetmode pix on the acquisitions forum - only for liege(thanks btw) to point out that the deco is very similar to e-hobby black starscream! D'oh! And here I was thinking I was doing something original! Dangit! Ah well - Any name ideas? :D

(Still got a bit of touching up to do - cause the gold paint I got STINKS and doesn't cover that well :\)

Shadowscream sounds cool. Also could work it into his bio about being Starscream's spoilt little brother and the reason Starscream is such an a-hole cause Shadow used to trash his toys when they were protoforms.

Nice scheme. What did you use for the gold? If you can find it Testors Model Master gold and silver is very good for brush painting.

I always thought that Starscream was just compensating for something... I think there's a reason why his voice is so high pitched. ;) :D
