F***...I scored 9 and a half.

3. I am, according to the medical definition, obese.
Borderline counts yeah?

4. On an average day more of my human interaction happens on message boards or in blog comments than with actual other people.
I blame my job for that

9. I have made a member of the opposite sex sit and watch me play video games for an hour or more.
Which is nowhere near among the worst things I've done to my lovers.

27. I own a sword, nunchucks and/or throwing stars.
Hey if Tom Cruise is a Samurai then so am I!

28. I'm an obsessive collector
...

31. I have corrected someone's spelling or grammar on a message board or in blog comments.
Gok my brother....now is the time to tell you that 'ownus' is spelt onus. Twice I've let you off on that.

34. I've read all of the greatest novels ever published, all of which happen to be graphic novels.
Well duh...

40. I'm convinced that I would be happier if I worked on the Starship Enterprise.

Unless a mod locks the thread before I can get in of course.

45. I believe that it's the rest of the world that's awkward and I actually have everything pretty much figured out.
Well that's obvious. Damn geeks.

46. I have a hard drive exclusively dedicated to porn.

I got 17. second best score so far ^_^

7. I commonly use very specific technical jargon without considering whether or not the person I'm talking to understands it.
God this gets me every time. I used to throw heaps of references out and no one got them. Then I came to this forum and a lot of them got recognised. ah acceptance

9. I have made a member of the opposite sex sit and watch me play video games for an hour or more.
I didn't make her I swear. She was in bed while I played. Honest

18. My sense of humor is more in line with 4chan than any other comedic source.
Best Website EVER

41. I do things for the "lulz."
Nine out of 10 things that I say/do is to try to make someone laugh

To quote homer:

NNNEEEERRRRDDDDD!

Nerds are generally good with the academics
where as geeks are generally good with things like video games, action figures and fiction.
There is a lot of grey area though. I have always perceived Star Trek as a nerdy series, where as Star Wars felt geeky. But I can never figure out why I get that feeling

9.5 points for me.

The 0.5 comes from:

34. I've read all of the greatest novels ever published, all of which happen to be graphic novels.
Umm... does this question mean that I only ever read comic books or just that I happen to read a lot of comic books? I'm the latter... I wasn't sure how to score myself on this one so I just gave myself half a point. ;)

The fact that I've put way too much thought into this question should earn me a bonus point though. :p
