Probably not affecting the TF2 movie, but could impact on the third one. Dreamworks split from Paramount last year, and signed up with Universal. This has now been terminated by Universal, and they are looking to sign up with Disney. A lack of partnership with a major movie company will impact on their funding and distribution of future projects.

This isn't meant to scaremonger, but it is worth noting in case it does alter Dreamwork's future focus/direction (if they sign up with Disney, which has a heavy focus on the family/kids genre).

A bit off topic, but if I recall, Pixar (CGI movies) split from Disney, and now Pixar's main CGI Movie rival (Dreamworks) is now looking to partner itself with Disney.

I hope they don't shack up with Disney, I really don't wanna see a 3 month gap between the US release and ours.
