TakaraTomy are apparently setting up a new collectors' site that will offer a Henkei Strafe (Cyclonus repaint) as well as Transformers Visa cards with Micron recolours:

Strafe as cyclonus? Need to think about that... I love the character (Strafe) but not sure how good one would be without extensive mods. Will get it either way tho now I kind of regretting not asking Lost to get me more Cyclonus...

I have two Visa cards through two different financial institutions - I wonder if I can convince one of them to give me a TF Visa card. :) Seems to be a member exclusive draw-prize though. :(

The vehicle mode looks better than the robot mode. I kind of expected more orange.

A good paint job for the tribute, but it's not really a mould that feels much like Strafe. It's a lot better than this year's BotCon fare so far..

With a Cyclonus head (a type of head shape no one else has), there is just no way this toy could pass off as anyone else, no matter the colour.
Sky Shadow had a good point, in that there was the episode with the odd coloured Cyclonus to use.
This just doesn't appeal to me either, and hopefully it will be of such little interest, I might find one cheap (I don't like spending much on the toys that don't appeal to me, as opposed to other people who just won't buy a toy that they don't like... :p ).

I was reminded that Cyclonus was also featured in the Club's Mirror Universe comic, in two-tone orange. Takara could have used that, and I don't think anyone would have been complaining about stepping on 'FunPub's turf'. Unless of course, FP were planning to do a release of Universe Cyclonus in their Mirror Universe colours.

I wanna like it cos I love the Technobots but I don't think a mother could love that paint job. Makes no sense. Maybe Shattered Glass Cyclonus makes sense but nothing else. I'm gonna ask lcz128 to do one tho w/ a lot of mods

Im a fan of G1 strafe and the technobots but this one is an easy pass.
