The LEGO Group have announced a new licensing cross-over with Disney Consumer Products (didn’t they invent Robocop?). Set to launch in 2010 are three new lines of interlocking blocks based upon the Prince of Persia movie, Toy Story and Cars. Yep - even more merchandising gold will be reaped by the Cars behemoth.

I reckon the Prince of Persia sets will be ace, dungeon and castle crawling sets! Set to drop April 2010

Toy Story and Cars will be Duplo sets. Set to drop June 2010.

The Prince of Persia stuff sounds good. They will probably use the flesh tone minifigs though

Hmm. I think the Cars ones will be great. Strange choice for Lego licenses though. But I guess this gives them more excuses to make more Lego videogames out of these franchises. I just hope they expand on more than just the PoP movie and include the new PoP game as well as I'd love minifig versions of the new Prince and of course the lovely Elika.
