:D2 ebay wins in a row:eek:, this is amazing, I can't remember the last time this has happened. G1 Horri-Bull £18.00 + £7.20(registered) postage and now Squeeze play for £31.00. He was sitting on £18.00 but someone else decided to have a go:(. Oh well it's from the same seller so hopefully he hasn't sent the other one off yet so I can save on postage.:D WOOHOO only £1.00 in extra postage to put the items in the same package:D.

Yeah, it would have been great if this was my 666th Transformer but I couldn't find 66 other Transformers to buy yesterday :)

I also got a bunch of other toys in today from one seller that averaged out to $16 a figure:

Courtesy of Unca Iceburn for the last two. And they round out Ultra Magnus' team. I've been waiting for Ultra Magnus for a long time. As soon as I got him all the others that have been sitting in packaging came out immmediately. And I also found the repaint to really work. The shade of gray is less dull than Prime's gray and the light bright blue makes him seem a little different. The purple windows didn't quite warm to me at first but they really do work well once you transform it once or twice. The shade of blue for the armour is also really nice. They look lovely as a team.

I'm calling them:
- Skyblast
- Cliffjumper
- First Aid (I don't really see the need for a "Rescue Ratchet", movie ratchet is movie ratchet!)
- Ultra Magnus
- Warpath
- Evac
- Air Raid

I do find that renaming and being able to form a good looking squad really helps to invigorate the collecting. Otherwise I'd would've hated Nightwatch Prime, Cliffjumper and Rescue Ratchet. It gives repaints some meaning and interest. I felt an overwhelming sense of joy when I found Nightwatch Prime cos it meant I had Ultra Magnus and I could complete my 2nd Autobot TFM team. Anyone else do that?

Curse you STL and your ability to make me want repaints. Come on, REPAINTS?!

I do love the second Autobot team, I may have to steal the concept. I would change up the characters used though, I mean, I like Ratchet but I can't stand the thought of owning Rescue Ratchet. Maybe I'll go with Nightwatch Prime (Well, I like the Ultra Magnus rename there), Cliffjumper, Big Daddy, Grindcore, Evac and a couple scouts. I love the concept man, brilliant.

Now to go find these damned repaints. I think it's time to clear out the collection a little.

But then again even before this, I was gonna buy Nightwatch Prime anyway, can't resist the Autobots and I told iceburn I might get Desert Brawl too since I didnt have the green one.. :p And I so regretted not getting Evac from Singapore, with the exchange rate, he was gonna be much cheaper.

Hasbro should've renamed it as a different character instead of relying on fans to do it - as admirable as the idea is, sadly it will never be canonically official for that toy, which sucks. :/

I personally don't see it as Ultra Magnus as Ultra Magnus was never a blue truck cab - but that's just me. As much as some people complain about all the white-Prime Magnus repaints, they are "G1 accurate" because G1 Magnus' cab was indeed white.

If they'd called it Sentinel Prime, I'd scoop it up - especially considering that Sentinel Prime is blue in Animated!

I would've used the Cybertron repaints too but they haven't shown up yet at retail yet. My other thought was Off Road Ironhide as Skids. But he'll need some reprolablel stickers to do that. That or the original Ironhide as Trailbreaker again with help from Reprolabels. However, that said it kinda irked me to have too many of the same moulds in both Prime and Magnus' team so hence why I stuck with only First Aid. Strong arm isn't high on my list.

Firstly....finally...after searching every comic shop in a 100km radius and then wasting $20 on Amazon and accidentally getting the 'manga' (read b/w digest sized) version...I am now the proud owner of one damn fine story in STORMBRINGER!
This absolutely rocks....no stoopid humans....excellent use of characters...violence on a grand scale....Cybertronian history lessons.

I know this isn't a purchase but I thought i'd mention it here as these 2 books have been missing for so long. Transmanuals parts 1 & 2 published in 2000 by Mark Kimmel. Does anyone else have these? They are ID guides for bots and parts, I find they have excellent reference material.:)

I've had more TFs arriving in one day at my mailbox than I did for the entire February, thanks to Hasbro AU. :mad:

A total of 17 TFs for the month. :mad:

Gen2 Constructicons (regular yellow version). After convincing myself recently that the orange versions are just a US store exclusive and that the yellow versions were distinctly different Gen2 figures to any other official release of the Constructicons (Green, Orange, Yellow US, Yellow Euro), I had to include them on my list if I wanted to complete Gen2. (a goal I want to achieve this year)

Euro Falcon - One of the four toys by that deceptive ebay toy dealer panbac that I had to replace (it was in very poor condition, but listed as excellent). So unfortunately an expense that doesn't count to the collection total.

Masterpiece Skywarp - the best item I got in February. Such a beautiful jet mode, I didn't want to transform it. But the robot mode is great as well. And it catches me up with the six MPs now.

MP3 Soundwave - Very nice concept, but am yet to use it because I still haven't gone out and bought a MP3 card for it yet. Haven't decided on if it should count towards the collection yet either, because its primary purpose is a music device and not an action figure. It's like the Movie transforming DVD case - it might be a transforming character, but its primary purpose is not as a toy so doesn't count.

Robotmasters Wingstun - is the last of the RM moulds. Now only need a few of the recoloured new-mould figures, some of which are the rare black recolours.

BotCon 2006 Buzzsaw - I wasn't too happy getting this without Laserbeak, because they are most likely sold as a pair and I may end up doubling up on it just to get Laserbeak in the future (my last BC06 figure to acquire - Tigatron is in transit). However, it was within my price range in the auction, so decided to get it just in case I may find Laserbeak on its own eventually.

Movie figures - Legends Nightwatch Prime, Stealth Starscream, Ratchet (olive colour - already had the bright green one, but wanted both like TM2 Prowl which came in two colours). Plus the first two movie battle scene packs with Longarm and Barricade/Frenzy.

Next month should be huge though, as I would be hoping to catch up on most of the 40-odd figures we are now behind on in this country (yes, over 40!!). And April will be BotCon month, which will see more spending... oh boy, looks like more overtime at work to pay for all of this... :p :)

Griffin, the Sondwave MP3 player is a prettty ordinary MP3 player. You wouldn't want to use it as your music device. The sound is also not so great. I think this is a case of an action figure with a gimmick rather than a transforming MP3 player.

I don't even care about the MP3 gimmick. My Soundwave is purely for the purpose of being classics soundwave. (He's far better than Titanium Soundwave) plus with the black Classics mini-con cat, we've got Ravage. :D In my mind, MP3 Soundwave is first and foremost a toy with a gimmick.

Well I'm still trying to decide on if I count Soundwave. I'll have to have a look at who actually made it. I was under the impression that it was a licensed item, not actually made by Takara. If Takara made it, it would be easier for me to see it as a Transformer with a gimmick, rather than a licensed gadget that can transform. And I want the Rumble/Frenzy earphones as well, which would have to count if Soundwave does.

As for the screen battles sets - they are staying sealed until I get all four, and then I'll think about what to do with them.
