G'day all. Came across this board earlier today and though it was a fun place so I decided to join up. Good to see there's lots of other Aussie Transformers fans. ;)

Bit about me:

Am 26 years old and have been a long-time Transformers fan since the 80s. My interest in Transformers generally pertains to G1, Beast Wars and RiD. I don't hold any of the other incarnations in as high regard, except for Armada and the live-action movie, both of which I despise.

I started recollecting Transformers recently and only have about 50 items in my collection right now (but it will eventually grow bigger over time), most of which I keep MISB/MOC. My most prized Transformers item is the MP04 Conoy, which I got from Target like some of you here did.

I'm also a big Voltron fan and collect Voltron items as well, which presently outnumbers my Transformers collection. My prized Voltron items are the 19 original pencils I have from the Devil's Due Voltron comic. Most of the pencils are EJ Su works, which are fantastic.

As I prefer Voltron over Transformers, Voltron tends to take priority over Transformers when it comes to collecting.

Some of my other interests include:

-- bike riding (except during magpie season as I get attacked too often)

-- the Christopher Reeve Superman films. The first Superman film is my favourite movie of all-time

-- martial arts

-- video editing

-- watching DVDs

-- listening to the soundtracks to Superman I-IV (the "Superman -- The Music" boxset), Supergirl, Star Wars, and Masters Of The Universe (the 2-disc set from La La Land Records; I was one of the lucky 150 customers to get a Bill Conti-signed copy)

Hi and welcome to the forum. I enjoyed Voltron as a kid, both vehicle and tiger forms though the tiger one is the most memorable one for me.

Do you have the Voltron Masterpiece set that was released a while ago?

I have the pencil to Volume 2, Issue #3 Page 19 as well but it's presently in storage. I also will be receiving two more pencils soon.

I have several other Voltron items that I did not take pictures of:

Voltron Omnibus (which famously has several pages from Vol 2, Issues #3 & #7 out of order)

Loose Voltron I-Men figures (was going to keep them MOSC, but the idiots at customs opened ALL of them )

Two "Voltron: The Third Dimension" posters

A Voltron poster that promoted an outdoor screening of Lion Voltron Eps 1-5 in St Louis a couple of years back

Several magazines with Voltron-related articles

6 Voltron shirts (all but one were freebies; they're kept in the cupboard I keep my MIB/MISC/MOSC Transformers in)

A fourth Voltron mousepad that was used to promote the US DVD release in 2006

Golion Collection 2 DVD

Golion Collection 3 DVD

A third copy of the Voltron soundtrack

A couple of bumper stickers from the Voltron.com store (which were freebies)

I think that's my entire Voltron collection.

Ooooo  Very cool! I'm a MOTU fan myself!
Yeah, it is cool :p The soundtrack is complete, so it was a very satisfying purchase. Bill Conti's signature was a great bonus.

The Conti-signed copies literally sold out ten minutes after the soundtrack was put up for sale on La La Land Records' site, which was a new record for them. I managed to get my order in with about 3 minutes to spare. Phew!

Thanks for the offer but that won't be necessary. I have all episodes of both shows.

Golion was recently released on DVD in the US with English subs, in case you don't know. Well worth picking up.

A subbed Dairugger XV DVD release will follow once the Vehicle Voltron DVD run is finished.
