I didn't realise that wave 2 of the 1-steps have not been sighted/reported yet, despite Firestorm finding wave 3 back in the end of June (two months ago).
I don't even recall if I've seen them in stores here myself, so I can't be sure if they are only now being released... but this is the first official sighting of wave 2.

Not that there would be too many people here who care much about the 1-steps... which could be why they've only just been noticed in stores. :p

Oh awesome, hopefully they get the legends in soon as well so I can not buy them as well. At least when big W has a product they can scan they usually just give you a ball park figure as a price. If its on show 90% of the time they will still sell it.

Not quite ACT, but if anyone's after the Megatronus wave of RID Warriors they're in Queanbeyan Target. Sort of. They wouldn't scan, and I was eventually told that they weren't Target stock and had basically been smuggled in by some sort of nefarious scam artist so they couldn't sell them. Not sure what that con man's end game might be.

Anyway, in the end I was able to persuade them to scan a wave 1 Bee and take my money. Which was lovely of them.

Megatronus is nice. Very happy to have the unmasked non-TRU version.

The Epic (Titan) Chase and Blades is odd, as they were in the first wave from 2014, but only Heatwave and Boulder were re-released in the second wave that came out mid 2015. I wonder if there was a revision wave or they were re-released with the third wave (which had High Tide), or Australia got dumped with some old 2014 cases.
I'll have to keep an eye out, as it could either be wave one cases or wave three (High Tide) cases.

I was actually quite surprised at seeing the full range of Rescue Bots yesterday at ToysRUs Garden City (in their younger toy section), after having Kmart being an unintentional exclusive source here, and that it was supposed to continue this year.
Maybe the drop in orders for the older lines has forced Hasbro to convince other store chains to take on Rescue Bots.

Yeah I called before I went in as well and was told they didnt have any. The guy didnt even go check, heard him speak to another customer when he put the phone down and not actually go anywhere. According to a toy listing on TFW, there are two case assortments for this wave, one with the black Bumblebee that doesn't have Bisk, and one with the yellow Bumblebee that does have Bisk.
Since your photo has the black Bumblebee in the new packaging, it looks like we didn't get the Bisk assortment after all... and we'd have to wait for the next wave to see if it gets a re-release for us to see it here. :(

Really strange but not surprising - we have a case assortment of four redecos with a new character/mould that only appeared in one episode, and they decide to drop the new character toy that has appeared in multiple episodes.
