Blackout looks amazing too.

Where was Blackout? Out of the new characters I only saw Strika, Rodimus and Cyclonus.

It was that huge bot that lands by Rodimus at the 17 second mark. He's huge!

While I've not been a fan of the TFA designs, I must say Rodimus looks pretty good.

I actually didn't notice (or recognise) Mainframe, (should be okay to say the name, since this is a spoiler topic covering the 3rd season) but it has at least been confirmed now to be Mainframe, and here is a full body image released by Derrick Wyatt:

Wonder what it transforms into, because the only existing toy of this character was a non-convertable Actionmaster that appeared to transform into a computer or some other peice of technical equipment.

On that page, Wyatt has confirmed that Mainframe is still an Action Master (hurrah!):

Oh man, ACTIONMASTER MAINFRAME. He was the first TF I ever had (and he didn't transform...that's kinda sad, isn't it?)

HA! He still doesn't.

That brings up an interesting point - why should everyone from that planet be able to convert, just because a significant number use that ability. An ability that was only developed for conflict purposes (if you go by the Gen1 cartoon). Shouldn't it be fair to expect that various Cybertronians are not automatically created with the ability to convert, especially if they don't have a direct warfare purpose?
Even though the Armada cartoon refers to their race as 'Transformers', other mediums have more accurately refered to them as 'Cybertronians', which doesn't automatically require them to be able to 'transform', like the other name suggests.
That said, I'd still like to see poor old Mainframe finally get an alt-mode.

It depends on the origin-story that they're going with. In the G1 comic the ability to transform was an inherent ability of their species, not a later developed ability like in the cartoon.

When I was a kid I had no idea what the hell Mainframe was supposed to transform into (it's not like I'd seen that many mainframes at that age). I think it'd be neat if he did transform into a computer (http://www.technovelgy.com/graphics/content08/batcomputer.jpeg) - especially if he's going to be a non-toy character, since marketing (and thus alt mode choice) wouldn't need to be factored in.

Yeh, I was thinking a computer too. As t would be most appropriate. STil I hope they bust out toys for the whole lot even though I remember them saying not eveyone might get a toy. They could really make Mainframe and action master and give a little buddy. THAT WOULD BE ACE:D

Who need the movie now!! HEY? HEY?

I still do.:D But Animated is looking good
