I almost forget this thing, last year I had an idea of buying from a whole seller in Sydney:

I went to a toy wholeseller with my neighbour several times. He sometimes sells toys on ebay,so he got an account there years ago.

It is a big warehouse roughly the size of 3,4 basket ball court.Basicly is a oversized Toys R Us, except they don't have video games.

Their price was as follows last year:

DELUXE: 18.8 (I bought a Deluxe with dents on package for $11)
VOYAGE: 33.7
LEADER:65.something
Movie scene:27.something
Once I saw they put Cybertron Voyages for clearance:18.something

they purchase through a different channel from K-mart's,that's why they don't have Ultimate BBB when the movie was on, but they do have all the other TF

toys. The best thing there is you do't have to buy by boxes,if you only buy one table tennis ball, that's still ok.

I didn't know where exactly it was then, cos my neighbour drove the car. I always forget to ask about the whole seller after I moved. Until a few days ago I

ran into that old neighbour. I asked him about it. He doesn't do his toy Biz any more but he tell me the whole seller's name, it is "Ryan's toys", about 40

min away west from Sydney city.

here is their website

http://www.ryanstoys.com.au/contact.asp

I asked them by email how I can buy from them, they said I need to setup an account there, they will need the folowing info to setup an account

Business Name

· Trading Name

· Business Address

· Delivery Address

· Contact Numbers

· Where you retail (shop front, online, eBay. please provide web address or username)

· ABN

· a little about your business

Anyone interested? We can find a trust worthy guy who has an ABN to make a group buy. The best thing about it is that we don't need to scout around and look for the Tfs we need, the whole seller has a large range and we can call before to make sure if the toys we are after are available. And of course, the price is lower.

But I don't know if it will affect the tax return of the ABN guy.

I own my business thus have an ABN.

I'd have to run things by my brother (my business partner) and my wife (she handles the books) but I thinksince I'm a wholesaler I should be able to do this and make it seem legit enough.:)

Bartrim, you sure you want to buy in Sydney? looks like you are very far from Sydney.

I'm 3 hrs from Sydney. Thats why I haven't fully commited yet. I'd have to weight up freight costs amongst other things.

Yes, that' what I concern, it's just too far, the petrol money is not quite worth it.

It will be easier if someone buy for you and mail it to you.

You have got to be sh-tting me.

They are literally 5 minutes from my place.

Looks like I'll be late into the office one day this week...

Well it wont be this week, flat chat giving support for a Water conference being held in melbourne this week.

Getting time to check it out will be hard, I leave the house around 6.45am and dont get back till a similar time in the PM. If I can convince a relo to check it out before I get a chance I'll let you all know of the going ons.

Went out and had a look at the business after hours, no indication of whether or not they are open to the public, but signs on the front doors were more or less only directed at retailers.

So I sent them an email a few days ago, and got this response:

We are not open to the public at all, only toy related retail outlets

So I guess if you have an ABN you can go through them, but not sure what their policies are regarding # of items and whatnot.

I've got a willing courier for Sydney pick up. Just wondering if I could get any expressions of interest from people who would be willing to go through these channels if I get an account.

Yeah - definitely, thanks. I still haven't even found Animated Swindle or Blurr or Universe Hound and Ravage at retail - to be able to order toys like that wholesale would be brilliant.

According to their website, they only seem to have older stock, from late last year, first waves of Animated deluxes and Universe voyagers... Not sure how good their public site is for stock, they might have more, newer stock that only "members" can view.

The Animated toys seem to be on the site:

H83462 TRA ANIMATED DELUXE BLURR
H83462 TRA ANIMATED DELUXE SWINDLE

Judging by that I just guessed that Hound might be but I don't think he is.

Thats what I'm hoping. I'm just about to fire off an email to them to see if they would be willing to do business with me.
