Heh, glad you guys like it. I think it looks a bit funny with how each Autobot is painted with just one colour each... makes me think:
+ Bumblebee - okay, he looks exactly the same in all yellow. No change here. :p
+ Optimus Prime - everything's red - even the helmet and eyes! Perhaps it's a tribute to G1's "All the Familiar Faces!" (http://tfwiki.net/w2/images2/8/8b/MarvelUS-58.jpg) :p
+ Grimlock - in blue and silver... holy cow, it's Overkill retconned in the original G1 Grimlock mould! :p (Photoshop anyone?)
+ Jazz - in green. Perhaps it's an idea for a repaint as "Prius Maximus" (Photoshop? ;))

A simple yet interesting acquisition. I won a Universe Tankor/Octane on ebay fairly cheap. Turns out the sellers grandmother gave to him when she came over from Canada so it has writing in both French and English on the label. The backing card has a picture of Sunstraker on the front side (where the toy goes) and the back has a picture of all three wave1 figures. Octanes actual bio was on a folded bit of paper with the instructions.

Just thought it was interesting:)

Thanks to the OTCA board members I picked up Universe Inferno today.

I passed on this every time I saw it. I'm not a fan of the mold or the character but for $25 at Target it is well worth it.

I picked up the the same shirt as goktimus posted earlier. they had 4 or 5 new jackets at jay jays to. one with diffrent transformers on it in blue and light grey and black and dark grey. The main problem with mine is the arm that holds the gun, my solution so far is to pose it sideways. I'm a big fan of the clear nail polish fix if all else fails.

I dunno, combination of the low cost I got each at (I paid $220 shipped for all that!) it made me think it couldn't hurt to triple up on all Henkei molds. Especially given once the movie hits, my O/S buying is going to dry up significantly.

SD-20 General Galvatron was one of my grails for a long time and I am so glad to finally have him despite missing out on him at cheaper prices. The SD-08 Shadowhawks came to about $11 each! The Chrom Horn Forest at $30! I couldn't be happier! Oh and the colours on Scorponok are just purely superior. Too bad I don't have a spare so I can keep this one boxed. :(

This was my first transaction from the Netherlands/Europe and I have to say it was completely hassle free - contrary to my usual perception of buying from Europe (English issues, shipping costs etc.) It cost 32 euro to ship all that (said on the box even though seller charged me 34) so the shipping cost is very good.

And all those tech spec cards make me giddy :o

He's definitely legit - he has a red waist, metal toes, solid build quality etc.
Thanks for the paint suggestions but I think I'll leave him be. The thought of taking paint to a 25 year old toy of that level of groovy is too horrendous to consider. He's a bit beat up but he'll be right. :)

He's in great condition. Electronics still work. Brought back so many memories. The only thing wrong with him is one of the battery connectors is broken, but it still touches the battery enough to make everything work. I might even pick up a part from Dick Smiths to fix it.

Yeah, I prefer dark colours too cos they make me look less... rotound. :p But I got the white and grey ones because they have TF images all over whereas the black and red ones only have TF logos on the front. :D Although their logos are bigger so they're more visible from a distance, whereas the ones I have you can only notice at close range.
