FREE Comic Book Day - 2nd May

This was mentioned in the Sydney Fan Meet thread, but I thought I'd do its own thread as fans in other parts of Australia may not know about it, and there are quite a number of us who are into comics as well.

Basically, I think this happens on the first Saturday of May, every year. This year, it will be held on Saturday the 2nd of May.

For comic shops / booksellers that participate, you just walk in, and get comics for FREE.

Note: You can't just get any comic for free, there are certain titles which will be free on the day. The shop staff will hand them out to people.

For those who live in Sydney - King's Comics, Kinokuniya bookstore, and Phantom Zone all participate (to the best of my knowledge).

I was there last year.. KIngs comics give away 3 per customer, same as Kinokuniya, and comics kingdom..so I got 9 free comics that day :)
