an encore gift-pack maybe, but MP? no way....

Perhaps our japanese literate forum members can clarify what the text says...

It looks to detailed to be the G1 mold, hopefully it is a masterpiece version.
If it is I wonder how much it'll be and what scale.

Yeah if anything I'd say it's an Encore. No way would they release Devastator as a Masterpiece (Although I think if they did, they could charge whatever they want and we would all pay it:D)

From the rather hard to see script, it looks like it has something to do with "WF2009" which I guess would be Wonderfest 09. There is a bit about Devestator, with 9000yen, so I reckon they are gonna re-issue G1 Devestator as a wonderfest exclusive. An Mp Devastator would cost more than that IMHO.

There is something about "MP09" down the bottom, but I can't tell what it is. Maybe they will reveal some scetches of the next one.

I don't believe it. People may have said the same thing before Grimlock was officially announced, but this is different.

Yeah, the quality of that text is difficult to read, but I was able to make out some of the information.

The plan is to make a 1:24 scale MP Devastator, but not all at once. The first one will be Masterpiece Hook (MP09). It will sell for 9000JPY some time next year. Furthermore, the MP Constructicons will be designed by Kawamori Shouji.

I just did a search on Google Japan and also browsed through a Japanese TF board -- couldn't find any mention of MP Devastator (you'd think that this would be hot gossip if most fans in Japan knew about it)... so yeah... I'd say that authenticity is somewhat dubious until I see further evidence.

If MP-09 is Devastator, I hope it is totally out of scale with the other MP's and fits nicely in scale with the Universe/Classics line :p

Although now I am convinced that it will not happen but if there ever is to be one, I am sure that the gestalt would be at most, around the same height as MP-01 or MP-05

Raider: According to that article MP09 is going to be Hook. It says that Kawamori Shouji will be designing 1:24 scale Masterpiece Constructicons at 9000JPY a pop. So even if what that article says is true, you're going to need to buy six MP Constructicons to complete a MP Devastator.
