Apparently, there has been a monthly comic published in Japan for the Henkei toys, in addition to the mini-comics packaged with the toys.
According to this site (http://www.poplar.co.jp/korekara/comic/003528.html), those monthly comics will be compiled and published for purchase (does not include the mini-comics from the toys).
It is a May release, and the artwork is by the same person who does the mini-comics.

His name is Tsushima Naoto (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Naoto_Tsushima). :)

I'd say the cover art would be in colour while most of the comic will be black and white, as is typical of Japanese manga.

One of the reasons I don't like manga :(

That said, I'll likely get it :o

Ah nice if the whole thing was in colour as well... probably get it too depending on how much it will be...

I'll wait for a big brick of a collection like the G1 Magna book.

what like 20 years later? :p To be fair we have no idea of what the interior art will be like. It's probably going to be b&w because that's the standard in Japan - but it's not as if coloured manga is unheard of either. :)

I actualy find Black And White manga much better value than the average US colour comic these days, however that said there are only a select few titles I follow.

However this Henkei comic looks to cutesy for me.
