Hell yes!
Only Ravage for now tho, the others will have to wait, can't justify the cost of the others... maybe Blaster too.
Tigatron will be renamed Glit in my collection however.

Ravage and Tigatron looks tempting must-haves.
But September is not that far ahead, I'd wait to see some more protos to come.

I would be seriously suprised if they were. 2Gb for a USB stick is rather sub-standard now.

Good point.
If that is a mini-usb connector in the side of Blaster (looks like it) then these are VERY small devices.

Ravage is certainly the best of the bunch! Also, its probably the one item that the final product will look like the concept art... A hard design to stuff up!

I will want to get Ravage, Overkill and Blaster.
At first I thought that Blaster as a laptop was a bit odd but then I remembered that Blaster's Cybertronian mode in G1 Marvel was some sort of communications computer. Further thinking about it with the music theme, a laptop is like the perfect sort of updated for a 'musical' and communications themed transformer since most of the music is digitized and many people listen through their computers which connects to the www for communication.

As Starscream would say (according to the Botcon website), "I *must* have that Overkill laser mouse, Megatron! If I were leader, we'd already have it!"

There's a fourth mouse recolored as Trypticon too.
Looks like Blaster is much the same size as MP3 Soundwave - that looks like G1 Rewind inside the 'tape' door.

Blaster and Ravage are must owns, while I am torn on which version of the mouse I will open up.
Looks to be a rather large USB stick though unless the computer in the shots is a netbook rather than a notebook.

True hopefully hlj or robot kingdom will be cheaper. blaster and ravage will be definate buys for me, the others will just depend on how my cash flow is when they are released. I wonder if blaster will get a twincast recolour if it sells well

the little writing says something about device label.
the writing under the dog thing says image of use, or something.

Yes the do.
Seriously, they should have made a yellow repaint called Steel Jaw than Tigatron. That's what irks me the most about this Device label specially since he is going to be a stand in for Classics Blaster just like Music Label Soundwave.

It did look better as Overkill, before TakaraTomy ruined my life. And at least Ravage, Trypticon, Overkill and Steeljaw make sense, as their 'robot' modes are their cat/dinosaur modes. Grimlock and Tigatron's dinosaur/cat modes are their altmodes, so their Device Label versions are basically Transformers with two altmodes and no robot mode.

I wouldn't put alot of faith in these things being reliable tho. My ML Soundwave stopped working as an MP3 player ages ago. I can't work out how to open it up to fix it either :(

Looks like the Ravage/Tigatron (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/other-news-20/new-images-of-device-label-blaster-tigatron-ravage-trypticon-and-grimlock-167572/) mould is held together with screws. That makes it easy take them apart to give Tigatron a nice yellow paint job.

17th May 2009, 02:57 PM
I wish they weren't actually working devices so they would be a fraction of the price. I mean, who really bought ML Soundwave to use as an MP3 player?
Fully agree with all those who say Grimlock should have been overkill.
Having said all that, I still want Blaster and Ravage! (depending on price)

While we are on the topic of Soundwave, his mp3 function aint all that bad, a little much on the bass but perfect for my style of music.
I actually use Soundwave more for his mp3 functions and Blaster would look perfect as the USB hub on the desk.
Also, am just curious, but does anyone know if Grimlock and Trypticon are optical laser mice? They should be with their price tags.

Really can't wait for Ravage to arrive in September. While I'll be happy to own both versions, I think Device Label Ravage not only looks better than the Universe release but is also a more fitting update as like most Universe figures it takes the original character and puts a modern twist on the alt mode.
