Cool, I am sure he will look good at the end. Mine needed some maintenance too as he was dirty and the paint from his face had flaked off a fair bit and I had to remove it to repaint it. Unfortunately to remove his head you have to pull apart the whole figure..:rolleyes:

In response to an acquisition of four toys - Hardshell (Bombshell), Snarl (Slag), Sharkticon (Gnaw) and Perceptor (Perceptor), shouldn't you be asking why Perceptor is actually called by his real name, rather than why Bombshell isn't? :p

My best guess as to why is that DC does have a Teen Titans character called Bombshell and thus perhaps Mattel has trademarked the name just in case they want to make a figure. I don't know why Hasbro went for 'Hardshell' rather than 'Decepticon Bombshell'. Maybe as a pun, because 'hard sell' has similar fiscal connotations to 'kickback'. Then again, who knows why Hasbro does anything? :confused:

Yeah I know there's 2 Steeljaws there, but ones got silver chrome the other gold ( its Malibu Stacey with a new hat). The other ravage is a diaclone one - pre TF so Im not letting it go hehehe

I would say it's a scene from the movie, so as it hasn't been created specifically for the toy, it's justifiable by linking back to the reason the kid is begging the parents for it.... "I want the one that blew up the phallus!!!"

As for the name change..... It IS a GUNSHIP... proper military terminology stating exactly what it is, so the name is justified and proper, whereas "bomb" in a toys actual name can be replaced.

Got my G1 Ultra magnus today

Overall i'm extremely happy with him. Under $100USD shipped and the toy itself is absolute mint. No paint or chrome wear. stickers are perfect except for 2 lifting and 1 missing.

Box is pretty decent. i was hoping it would be a little better but at the same time the wear add a little character :D

Tober: I kinda missed out on the cobalt sentries a year ago. Had the chance to bid on one butwas at work (darn) and got outbid by a few measly dollars. I do have a Garboil version though - not in pic. It also a pre TF one - dark blue laserbeak but its legs has seen better days and the plastic has crumbled so i need to glue its pieces back together, on doing so its gonna be stuck in bird mode.:o. Im still gonna have to look for a cheaper Cobalt sentry one of these days, Flipsides , well if he's being sold separately I might, Im not interestd in getting a blue Blaster, named Billy. Stupid name for a robot IMO.:mad:

The toy was repainted by gamblor916 and the tech specs was done by Paulbot. I bought the toy. It was a surprise birthday present that I'd arranged for dirge, but it ended up being a belated gift due to his sojourn in Melbourne. :) I thought it would be the ideal gift for the guy who has 'every' Transformer, and particularly a custom character based on his favourite GoBot now that they've been assimilated into Transformers continuity. :D

Today the postie delivered King Toys mini Ramjet, Dirge, Thrust and Sunstorm.

I'd seen reviews of these toys on youtube and just had to get some. I'm glad I did as the quality of these toys is fantastic and they are real beauties to look at (especially in jet mode). :D I don't have the original figures to compare with but as far as I can tell they are identical to their G1 counterparts (albeit much smaller). They have diecast bodies, the proper stickers and accessories - put simply, they rule! If you do intend to buy these toys (I got my 4 off ebay for $50 inc. postage) keep in mind that you'll need a modelling knife and superglue for the stickers as they're not easy to get off the card and the adhesive isn't the strongest. If you're the patient sort though you'll likely get a lot of joy out of these little fellows. :)

Big thank you to kurdt for getting me Human Alliance Bumblebee!!!!!! Forget the other Ultimate Bumblebee... This is the REAL ULTIMATE Bumblebee!!!!!! So impressed! I'm not sure if I like this or the new Leader Class Optimus more now... :p

Both modes look MUCH nicer in person than online pics. Transformation is very nice and not as frustrating like some BT/AT can be. Compared to BT/AT, this is a REAL toy that you can have fun with. Battle mask is implemented nicely. Even the dumb looking Sam figurine is pretty cool in person. :D Reminds me so much of the M.A.S.K. toys from childhood.

For his backpack watch Peaughs review...you can turn it into a 'jetpack' which really looks better. His legs are fine if you extend the bits at the back of his feet...helps him stand. I just think its a really good figure...after a couple of minutes of fidgeting.

ROTF Voyager Demolisher & Legends Prime. I really dig Demolisher (no pun intended) although the way the instructions have you leave the shovels facing outwards in bot mode is truly bizarre. A few tweaks to the arms and you can have him with the shovels facing forward like they should be. It doesn't look awkward anymore and he can actually stand upright without a problem!!

Hey that looks pretty damn good! That Hydrogen peroxide is a bit a miracle cure but be careful as the plastic is prone to yellowing back. The legs of my dogfight have once again discolored :(

Well I got a nice little haul today whilst on holiday in Singapore:

Universe Cyclonus (dont know why....already got him - $15),

Also one last thing.......a word of warning to anyone that goes to China Square Central on a Sunday......be prepared to have heart palpitations and your wallet bashed because daaaaaaamn it was good there. Missed out on a black Powermaster Prime MISB for $150 and they had lots of MP stuff going from $120 to $175. Only if I had more space in my luggage, I would have bought more.

screamer will set you back 80 beans, but he wont pop up often. hes only in select toyworlds.

as for ironhide the answer is no, unless you get someone to make one for you. go check kelvinchangs collection page, he has one i think.

MP Screamy did cost me 90 bucks when it hit a local toy kingdom here in Victoria last week. Other states (like Perth) could get it for maybe about $75-$80 nowadays.

Picked up complete G1 Jetfire, Snarl and Skids, MIB of Blacker and Laster and about 30 UK Marvel Transformer comics from eBay.

Also while overseas in the UK and Singapore I picked up a copy of the UK Transformer reissue which the title escapes my mind signed by Simon Furman, Encore Vol 1 set of cassettes and a pile of other non-TF stuff including some Figma figurines, manga, dvds, Doctor Who stuff and Revoltech Evangelion items.

I think I might have to have a sale soon for the UK Marvel comics and some other TF stuff when I get back from work in about 2 weeks.....the limited space and lack of funds is taking its toll *sigh* glad Im not hooked into the Animated and Movie lines like other people :D
