Net censorship's really starting to creep up in Australia.

Electronic Frontiers Australia (EFA) gets link removal notice (http://www.efa.org.au/2009/05/05/efa-gets-link-removal-notice/)

Perfect example of why the government must not be allowed to implement their planned mandatory filters/censorware.

BAH I say, BAH!

Why can't they spend taxpayer money one something productive?

I'd rather the money go into buying superceded US military hardware than to this nonsense.

As I've said in previous threads, write to your local MPs (no matter what political party they're associated with) and let them know you don't want mandatory censorship.

If your local MPs are Labor pollies, let them know you won't vote for them or their party as long as the net censorship policy is alive.

As Greens Senator Scott Ludlam said a couple of weeks ago at a public forum about the government's plans, keep writing to MPs, even if you get form responses, as your letters go into a tally which matters.
