I assume roller is referring to the usual gushing from the fans when ever a new mosaic is released.
I agree for the most part, some are really good, most are quite average and pointless, but its good to see something like this from the fandom.

It would be accurate too :)

The artwork's great but what I'd like to see is more of these guys go onto make mini-comics of several pages, not just the 1 as it's so limiting and it clearly shows now after the initial lot of Mosaics.

I think the earlier Mosaics that concentrated on missing plot holes or another view of an event in the official fiction were more effective than random but pointless ones like several recent works.

Yeah, even Alan Moore - who's verbacious at the best of times - has a rule of 35 words per panel maximum, only 210 words per comic page. This Mosaic breaks those rules before it's even a third of the way through. And it needs an editor for another reason too - the pictures are very pretty, but the page isn't saying anything of note. That's the problem with 99% of the Mosaics - they have no point and no punchline - they just exist for no reason. Except maybe that someone wanted to draw some Transformers and mistakenly assumed that anyone can write. For a one-page comic strip to work and be anything but 'meh', it needs a great last line/a climax/a cliffhanger/a twist/a final punch.
Because that's what the medium's all about.

And that's why I don't read fanfics! And IMO the Mosaics are a lot better than most fanfics out there. (-_-)

So... according to your second sentence, your opinion is that the Mosaics are better than the things you can't actually judge since your first sentence states you don't actually read them.
\:eek:/
Alternatively, I bet I could direct people to many more amazing fanfics than there are amazing Mosaics.

Added disclaimer: most mosaics are better than most fanfics that I've read.
