Last Chance for anyone here wanting to attend BotCon...

It may be getting last minute for us long distant fans, and the current economic climate is probably discouraging most from even considering it.

That said though, with the really cheap airfares at the moment (return to LA from the east coast start from just $1000), and the 25th Anniversary, this year's BotCon would be one to consider.

As of the 2nd May, there are still almost 10% of pre-registration Boxed Sets available. While the Wednesday tour and Saturday night party are still also available. (Thursday tour is sold out)

And the second Hotel with the BotCon discount rate is still available, with the rate on offer until May 12th.

We do already have 8 Aussie fans attending this year (7 I know are confirmed), and one of those people going this year might still be able to share their room (to halve your accomodation costs). But check with me if you are interested (so I can check with him), or if you are already going and now want to share with someone.

Email sent out by FunPub, saying that this friday is the cut-off for registering and booking into the Hilton at the convention discount rate.
The interesting thing is that they appear to still have Boxed sets available, which means that non-attending sets are still availble. And if they have any left over, they will be available for sale at the convention, but they won't be there for long as some of the online dealers will get their hands on them pretty quickly.

Hopefully this will also mean that there won't be a shortage of the other convention figures, for those of us who will be buying for the rest of you. (I will be posting up a pre-order/reservations topic in the sale section shortly)



Friday May 15th is the last day the block at the Hilton (http://www.hilton.com/en/hi/groups/personalized/PASPHHF-BOTCON-20090526/index.jhtml) will be available for the group rate!
Also, Friday is the last day we will be able to process before the convention all packages. If there are packages available at the show, you can come to late registration at 9:30 on Friday May 29.
