My TF bag is proving to small for school use, so I've made my own using my old bag using iron-on transfers I made from my printer. :p

T'was a first attempt and yeah, didn't turn out so well. For one thing, the bag material is way too thick and bumpy. Secondly, the dark colour of the bag really doesn't make the iron-ons look good. They're designed to be ironed onto white shirts and on a dark background they're barely visible.
My next attempt was with a necktie...

Turned out better this time with a lighter background colour (silver). Stupid me forgot to mirror flip the images, so Megatron's fusion cannon is on his left arm (D'OH!)!! :p

With the Necktie Gok, Try it on a plain colored one, it'll come out better and make the Sigils the highlight coz with the stripes, even if its large it kinda distracts from the iron on ones. Erm how long will those transfers last... are these permanent?:)

Head on down to Kmart Gok, they sell Iron on transfer paper that is suitable for light and dark coloured material.
I used the dark stuff to make my Animated T-Shirt.
Also plain coloured cotton shirts work best, the heather style shirts dont look as good.

That was the plainest tie I could find. :p

i always wanted to do a custom TF tie.... (actually it was for my wedding but will have to wait till a future date). nice try gokkie. actually there are plain white or coloured ties around for $10 i believe. I was hoping to buy iron-on insignias or pins and then place them on the tie to make it look good and for my best-man to wear it

From memory the paper is right near the scrapbooking section, and costs about $12 for 3 sheets. Its one of those items they never seem to have much in stock, so goodluck.

I was going to try this to make a custom tshirt for Botcon (bought paper from K-Mart and blank tshirts) but I ran out of time.
