He's already been in at least one - he was in the Autobot crowd scene in 'Decepticon Air'.

I wonder how they could work him in.
so far we have only seen the jet-twins as flying Autobots, and the others have said there has never been a flying Autobot.
If he were to be worked in, he would have to have been either a Decepticon-turned-Autobot or a recently reformatted one with similar code to the twins

Actually, we've seen Jetfire, Jetstorm, Omega Supreme (and kind-of Swoop) who are all flying Autobots. And there's no reason Powerglide needs to have a flying altmode. Animated Highbrow had a non-flying vehicle mode and his G1 incarnation could fly too.

I agree. He kind of looks like he might turn into somesort of tank. Let's not forget that the guy's name is powerglide.

He might not actually fly but fall with style...
