View Full Version : Are we sure $200USD is unreasonable for this?

Hey Guys,

so i posted in the good price forums whether or not $200USD was unreasoable for a MIB G1 prime - hopefully shipped for that price.

Well i just got the pictures and...... I think its worth it but please correct me otherwise. Cant contest that its in amazing condition

One of the pictures has the recipt in the background with the purchase date.

hmm, what's with the cardboard grey windows for the box in the first 2 pics? Is that suppose to be there?

yeah a few of the original g1 boxes have it. also ultra magnus and soundwave for example

From what I can tell it looks pretty real but the box is suspeciously mint (aside from the flap crease).

It is a good price though, boxed G1 Prime's in that condition go for a lot more.

Yeah its condition is a little too good to be true but none of the tell tale signs of a fake are there. it has just been a display piece from an adult collector.

if the tape sealing the box is yellowed then that's a good indicator that this is at least 20 years old and unopened. I am inclined to think its real so far though.

i just received word that its already sold. i've been dealing with the owners girlfriend. he owns a collectible store and its simply been on display.

i'm so bummed.

Damn, that was a real nice piece as well, and from what I could tell, it looked legit to me.
The tape on the ends looked like had been on it for wuite a while.
