Saw these two pics showing a repaint each of Powerglide, Onslaught and Silverbolt with Powerglide being even more geewun compared to the Takara version. I can't find any accompanying text, but we should find out soon.

i have a bad feeling the this toy is gonna feel cheap and won't improve on the quality of the Takara version... the red has to be vibrant and bold to make it worth buying

Those are from a Hasbro Botcon display. More details to come in our Botcon reports.

I bet the Onslaught repaint is going to be Roadbuster.

I was hoping the onslaught repaint is going to be Hardhead, even though he was a headmaster and a tank. Could be Roadbuster. Still scratching my head over the silverbolt repaint.

onslaught is going to be hardhead and silverbolt is skyfall.
I like onslaught being repainted into hardhead, Its a fitting mold for him. Hasbro is finally doing right by powerglide, although a little late. As for silverbolt its a nice repaint but could probably live without it

The red Powerglide repaint could be Hot House. I saw this suggested on another forum. Hot House is a micromaster base, with a powerglide style aircraft. The red repaint suits the name Hot House, I wonder if this was the plan all along to give us a mostly light grey Powerglide, and release a red repaint further down the track as a new character.

Which makes absolutely no sense, since G1 Hot House looks more like the originally released Universe Powerglide than this recolour, which looks nothing like Hot House and everything like G1 Powerglide. So... in Hasbroland - where nothing makes any sense - you're right, this probably will be Hot House.

The green Onslaught is Hardhead. I still have to find out if the red Powerglide is still called Powerglide.

Onslaught's mold really doesn't say Hardhead to me...

What makes you think they're ROTF line?

Wow, Hardhead is not the colour I was expecting, and the shield is...different.

I prefer Powerglide as a minibot. Pity Hardhead is just a straight recolor, instead of getting a new head mold.

I may finally break down and get Powerglide with this colour scheme, though I may just get the USA Edition.

I've been going to get Henkei Powerglide for a while now, but I think I'll hold off. This one looks great!! Regardless of whatever name they give him - this guy's colours (especially the arms) are Powerglide's!

I actualy like Hardhead, or rather I like him as much as I like Onslaught which isn't saying much.

Certainly Powerglide looks better than his previous Universe toy.

But as these are all exclusives they will probably be sold for ridiculous prices ala Darkwing and Countdown at Toys R Us, so I'll probably never get any of them anyway.

I am interested in the red Powerglide, I have avoided getting him. I guess we can refer to original as Hot House, and this red one can be the real Powerglide. I'm liking those grey arms, and I think its a nice red also.I bet they name him powerglide again, he sure looks like a decent homage to powerglide.

I'm interested in Hardhead also, but he will look better with some mods so he is different to onslaught. The black silverbolt, Skyfall, not so keen on him. Rather than buy another silverbolt, with the money I could buy a ROTF jetfire.

I do believe these will be under the Universe brand.

Hasbro's Hardhead is not very good. Hopefully Fan Projects will pick up on doing proper Classics version of the Headmaster characters if Hasbro doesn't want to do them properly.

That would be nice, but lets see if they manage to make good on Springer and co first.

I dunno I'm still tempted but that version of the Onslaught mould simply cause they ditched those damn SWAT signs.

I think Countdown would be a better basis for Hardhead than Onslaught.

Granted the robot mode isn't very close (but then neither is Onslaught), but to my mind Countdown's vehicle mode is a much closer match.
