ROTF Figures - what've you got and what are you getting.

Tell me what ROTF figures you have, and which ones you plan to get... ill start off; I have Voyager Ironhide, Leader Prime and deluxe Sideswipe, and i plan to get basically all the voyagers/deluxes and the other two leaders...

Other TWO leaders? May I be so bold as to correct you (and get you more excited in the process) and inform you it is THREE more - so far. There's one more other than Megs, Prime and Jetfire. :)

Oh and who else was tempted to get Megs and Prime after hearing the new sounds they make? They actually talk this time! The only leaders I bought from the '07 movie were DD Brawl and NW Prime.. Brawl got repainted to G2 megs colours and NW Prime..well..I was that disgusted by him and that stupid sound he made, got chucked. I just wasn't keen on Prime the first time round. He just really didn't sit right with me. That sound he made really was filth.

I hope no one is crying now.. lol there are quite a lot of Prime fans here. My apologies if you have ran off for the kleenex :(

Any reason for Leader Prime? I know he and Megs are on sale at 20% off, but I am almost positive they will be around for a long time to come (if the last lot of movie figures was anything to go by).. and moreso this time due to the current economic drama. So I'll wait til the AU dollar matches US dollar again and pick up a bundle of leaders for less than the price of one, here in Aus. ;)

I also wanted to point out how much I love TF collectors who only have a few toys. I remember when I started collecting in 2007 and just had a few. Those few I adored. I went nuts last year and bought sooo many toys. I temporarily lost my lust for toys and forgot why I was buying them. Can you believe it? I realised that for me, less is more. Spending an hour that evening with a new toy I have bought, (when I have only bought one or two at a time..not 15..like some people lol) gives me a chance to bond with my new addition and keeps things fresh. I have so many toys unopened in their boxes for display purposes. It's just not the same.

My message is - DONT LOSE THE LUST AND JOY OF YOUR TOYS. Just treasure each toy and give it the 'play time' it deserves.:)

All scouts. The deluxes sans the constructicons. Im getting the combiner Devastator. Will get the Gravity bots, when their prices go down. For now I can't justify paying $25 for it....:mad: sure it autonatically transform but it's basically a paperweight so nah. not yet.

Haven't got any so far, but a lot of the Scouts look tempting, the ice-cream twins are must-haves, if the combined Arcee bike form is good then I'll nab them, tank Bludgeon is a must-have and Ironhide looks pretty sweet too (though a red version would be ideal).

I havent got around to buying any yet, but I'm going to get the Human Alliance line and some of the Legends. I saw a red Ironhide called Enforcer Ironhide in some Botcon pictures and I will definitely get that. I might also get the Legends Devastator if it is released here.

The only things about those toys which interest me are the humans - cos I would like to have an official Sam Witwicky figure, as well as other human characters from the movie. But I'm not going to pay $50-odd just for a those. My Mutt Williams will have to do me until Hasbro decide to make proper 10cm action figures of the TF humans (they could even just repaint and repackage their Mutt Williams figure! And a lot of G.I. Joes could be repainted/retooled for Lennox, Epps etc.).

The transformation is completely different to the original movie and just has so much more detail. Definitely worth every cent..this further pushes me to want a bigger version of him that talks!! WOOOOOOO! .. and boy..that colour scheme is lovely stuff.
