I certainly don't want a bodge paint job but in the end these are mass release toys. How many Sideswipe figures would you think have been produced for example. Say a generous 1/5 of those the paint application is off a little... its just a drop in the bucket. As a Transformers fan we are really lucky, many other toy lines don't get as much care put into their design and asthetic as we do.

I've been fairly lucky I suppose, no major paint stuff-ups. I don't really look very hard though.:p If quality is important I'd go for a collector aimed line like Masterpiece, Alternator/Binaltech, or Alternity.

Although, i voted middle of the road...

somewhere, in between of "the middle road it cant be too shabby" and "i need perfection!!"

middle it is

dont think we can ever find a paintjob that's perfect but overall if it's looking okay, i'll accept it. i also judge the toy by it's packaging...if the packaging is crap...i'll think twice too
