So, Hasbro has said "There is a reason for Scavenger and Demolishor having seperate names"

One is seen in shanghi, one in Egypt.... one fighting Prime and you KNOW he has massive swords for a reason....

So maybe they are 2 seperate characters....

This is supported by the toys... Demolishor DOES NOT form part of devestator... everyone is complainging about combiner characters not combining... but if one never leaves China, he isn't one of the combiners...

THis is supported by Mr Deluxe Rampage.... Who in the Comic, as i have seen from the Issue 4 five page preview, shows up holding Mummy and Daddy Witwicky hostage....

So?

Well in the comic, which timing can often suck in, but also the Novel (a bloody good read) this is happening AT THE SAME TIME that Big Devs starts ripping into the Pyramid...

So we think Hasbro's being cheap making Constructicons that don't combine.... But maybe, just maybe, they are making exactly what will be in the movie, a Bulldozer to robot Toy, and a Bulldozer to leg one...

That's my theory.... lets see what happens on the 24th....

After the five minutes of the film I saw at Botcon I had a different speculation, but it's maybe a bit more spoilery since it's based on seeing some of the film (albeit it out of context). Generally though it's in the same line of thought as yours.

I have always thought that Demolisher and Scavenger were seperate characters. When the first pics were shown of the toys they looked similar but small differences made me think that they weren't the same bot. Differences such as the cabin and treads. Although, Demolisher may get an upgrade/downgrade later in the fillm to become Scavenger. Or vica versa.

So, now that people have the seen the film, will you all stop complaining that the Supreme Devastator toy is just vehicles that combine into a giant robot? Complain instead that the box calls some of the vehicles Rampage, Mixmaster, and Long Haul when we all saw that they are not part of Devastator, or that the seventh vehicle, the long tuck, is not included. :rolleyes: :D .
