Movie premiere in Japan last night.

Saw on the Today show about half an hour ago, the Transformers Movie had its world premiere in Japan last night.

Haven't seen anything posted on ninemsn.com.au yet, but keep an eye there for a clip as it should be the best place for Nine to post it.

THe only thing I could find so far on the premiere was a report on the Don Murphy forum (http://www.donmurphy.net/board/showthread.php?t=30967), but be warned, it contains spoilers, as the person is commenting on the movie as well as the red carpet entry of the guests.

Guests were Micheal Bay, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Shia Lebouf, Megan Fox, someone called Ramon Rodregaz, and that aussie girl Isabel Lucas.
Richard Wilkins only interviewed the stars, not Bay. Megan showed off once again that you don't have to sound intellegent to get a job in Hollywood...

Looks like Paramount shipped the Bumblebee statue from BotCon in LA to the premiere in Japan, just a week later.

I guess it means the Movie was at least finished in time for its release date, despite all the delays and rushing at the start.

Oh and one question, why when the TFs are in robot mode do the look all banged up and battle-worn, but when they be in vehicle mode they are immaculately detailed?:confused: That annoyed me from the first movie too.

lol- I know I've misposted in different threads when not really paying attention - so that's fair enough really... I really didn't know the movie was going to be premiered already though... I thought Bay just said he finished it days before... Talk about working til the last minute! @_@

Yeah, same thing happened with the first movie. Michael Bay told us at the Sydney premiere that he'd only finished it 19 hours ago. This is why people like George Lucas say that movies aren't ever finished - they escape. :)
