So thats the reason for the new ultra pricing... so they can say that you "save more" when sales time comes around.

$30 as a "Hot Price" for deluxes is shambolic!

Amazing, even with a save of $20 Countdown and Darkwing are still insanely over priced.

Too bad about their free Voyager offer since there is nothing there aside from Darkwind and maybe Countdown that I would want.

However I have to keep in mind that I could be a little unrealistic in what I want to pay for Darkwing - I love the character tribute in the repaint but the mold is a disgrace at the Ultra level and would not want to pay much.

Hey SGB, I saw it too... Bloody good looking catalogue! They Bumblebee Helmet and Weapons were cheap at $49.99... They've done a great job on it... I was stoked as I'm a new collector and the spend $100 and get a Universe Voyager Free is an awesome offer for someone who's new to this...

I thought the pricing was basically on par. I went to a few other Retailers and other than a couple of items, TRU, Big W, Target and K-Mart were all around the same.. I'm sure there will be more sales prices coming from all when movie time comes around...

I found it funny going into Target today and Universe deluxes are set at $28.99 retail, while Universe voyagers are $24.99 retail. I thought when I picked up Inferno a few weeks ago for that cheap they must have just had a screw-up. Obviously not.

It's not too bad a sale - but it's smart I guess - that they keep the most movable size class (deluxe) at their regular price - I'll only have a free moment to go on Thursday :)

The TRU catalogue was delivered to our place yesterday (which in itself is a shock, we never get catalogues, the delivery guys usually just dump them near the creek) but some people from my household had removed the tf pages from it to help me save money... :rolleyes:

I'm still stunned at the regular pricing on these. These "sale" prices are closer to what they really should be.

When in the last 2-3 years did ultras jump $30? That's like a 40% increase.

You can meet these heroes "for real" on the Saturday 13th of June at the Penrith store from 9.30 to 11.30am, and the Campbelltown store from 1.30 to 3.30pm, and on Sunday the 14th June at Parramatta from 10-12pm, and at Moore Park from 2-4pm.

I feel sorry for the poor buggers in the suits, they wont be metal to stop the kids attacking them. :D
