Part of Sydney Uni's uglier - esp. the biomedical building... bleccccch! :p Tokyo's uni's pretty ugly too... although I suppose these places are just ugly cos they're old and dirty, whereas the Scientia was intentionally designed that way. I think it looks neat. ;p
...just realised that I've never scanned any of my photos of when me at Tokyo Uni. <puts on "To Do" list> I only went to Tokyo Uni once to do an exam - I wasn't an enrolled student there. I attended Daitobunka University (http://www2.daito.ac.jp), at the Matsuyama Campus which looks nicer than the main campus in Itabashi (http://www2.daito.ac.jp/jp/uploads/profile/1191548011_ita_haichi.jpg).

The Matsuyama Campus (http://www2.daito.ac.jp/jp/uploads/profile/1240195384_higasimatsuyama.jpg) did have this funky bridges that look all "Futurama" but in reality are just overhead bridges covered in glass, which means that they're hot-as-hell in summer (T_T). #31 on that map is a massive lake full of Koi which was nice... if the water wasn't so murky. :p
Japanese universities evidently aren't as cartoonish as the ones we have in Sydney. ;)
