New D-con in the ranks!

Hey everyone, I joined this forum just over a year back but have been too engrossed with studies to be active on this site. Now that the second movie's coming out and I missed out on booking premier tickets, I've come to this site for hope.

But before that, introductions! I'm from the Sydney area and grew up with Beast Wars and Armada (some say they're not the best shows to grow up with but I wasn't as fortunate to be born in the 80's). I've got my own collection going on, nothing impressive I don't think. I've gone to several conventions in Paramatta and can recognise only two people on these boards, hoping I'll make more neighbourly friends because I consider it hard finding full fledged fans to talk to.

I was also wondering if anyone going to IMAX midnight session was willing to spare two tickets? Expenses can be paid generously ;)

Well I used to just get whatever came my way and I could afford but now I'm trying to aim for some originals, Beast Wars, Animated and maybe a bit of Armada.

But I don't exactly have a job so my collection is at a halt :(

My mother's filo but never taught me the language so I only know a handful of random words. I'm in between Sydney and Hornsby, and I'll post my collection once my mother goes off to holidays. She wouldn't approve of me taking all my stuff outta the cabinet :(

All my non Filo friends seem interested in learning that first, prolly to know if they're being told that and avoid it or something ;).
