Just moved this to its own topic for now. If we get some product photos or details of the new wave of TFs items at Jay Jays, they will be posted in this new topic.
Thanks Ross for the info so far. :)

Awesome Ross! Is that Richmond, VIC you're at? Any chance of stopping by your warehouse? Haha!
Have to say the range of hoodies has been excellent so far. Favourite is the red/black Decepticon hoodie.

Yep Richmond Vic, the warehouse is in Altona so you can do a drive by there ha ha.
And we're focusing as much as possible on Gen 1 stuff, hope to keep a good mix of new vs old .

The new shirts and hoodies are really great and like all Jay Jay's clothing, a great price point IMO. don't really find the TF stuff on sale though.
You need to keep us informed about when those amazing posters are being hung in stores. I'm always too late to try and reserve one to keep when they're finished with :-(

Good to hear you like our stuff. The TF stuff rarely cops a markdown 'cos it sells well but there is the occasional random bargain
We get a massive waiting list for the posters and window props, might be worth producing a few more and putting them on e bay !!

Werll it might be a seasonal clothing, but Beanies, wristbands, non leather belts, gloves and scarves, oh and socks with G1 Sigils on em would be nice additional clothing :D. The undies were great, hope you put out more designs heheh:D
Any plans on Collared shirts with TF sigils?
and yeah about those posters.....:D

Those posters !! We're planning plenty more promos for summer so will look into producing a few extras ... thanks for the tip on wristbands and stuff. We're planning a few new categories for summer (hint you wear them swimming) so look out for them.

Oh god no please dont put them on ebay, some people have way too much cash to burn and love to rev up the pricing.
Just produce an extra 50 of everything and advertise here at cost/small profit:D and i guarantee you everything will sell within moments.

I think maybe you should sell some of the posters to those here on the boards, as I have asked staff about these posters before and have been rudely told that they can't reserve them and they go back to head office

I'll second that motion on the rudeness. some people have been nice enough to let me down gently but most are quite evil and rude about it. In the end i was trying to do them a favor so that it didn't go to landfill and they didn't have to mess around trying to dispose of it

No def won't put them on E bay !! Will enquire about producing more and we might be able to offer them as prizes on this forum. The company policy is that they need to be trashed due to all sorts of complications with licensing etc etc but will look into a better way that we can getbthem out to the fans..

Just thought I'd throw in my 2-cents.
I love seeing TF stuff on clothes (especially G1) but perhaps on less hoodies for outerwear, maybe plain zip-ups? I think I'm getting a little too old to be wearing just hoodies though I realise that most of the guys outerwear is hoodies.
And yeah, send some of those posters our way, we'll give them good homes!

Sounds like quite a few of us here bought the underwear. Seems we'll buy just about anything TFs related.
Just to reiterate what has been said about the posters etc - licensing issues may prevent the sale of promo materials (the companies that paid money for poster licenses may not be happy with others making money off posters), so fingers crossed that something happens, but whatever it is, in any quantity, we'll be really appreciative for the effort they put in just for our benefit.
Ross has already sent me some images of the latest hoodies and t-shirts, plus the flyer for the competition. I have to convert and upload some of them first, but will post them shortly into the first posting of this topic.
The competition prizes look great - 3 LG multimedia phones, 10 PS3 console packs, Toys and PS3 games.

I think slightly more discrete! maybe logo the same size as the blue/white hoodie.. or have logo (same size) at the back, top centre

Does Jayjays sell bags ( mailman bags in particular)? or just purely clothing? not so sure if Ive seen some, but a jeans material mailman's bag with the auto/decept sigil print or clasp tabs of the sigils instead so less conspicuous, would be really cool (in dark blue, black colors preferably):D

one thing i dont like about the hoodies is the pricepoint.
theyre extremly thin compared to other jumpers, and still cost $40 :(
i went to get one today, but decided i could get a few tshirts, and then buy a cheap long sleved one to wear underneeth and it would still be cheaper than one of the jumpers.......

The issue is that these are pretty expensive items of clothing to produce in comparison to t-shirts and the more they cost to make, the bigger Hasbro's whack is in royalty fees...

I'm going to have agree with this point quite strongly. After seeing them in store with intention to buy one, I wasn't too impressed by the material thickness. As winter wear they don't really serve much warmth even for Queensland climate. I suggest the next batch be much thicker, similar to what you can buy at Billabong. Bottom line I didn't buy one because of that reason.
I do understand there are licencing and costs issues involved. Just means trying to find a cheaper supplier or renegotiate with the current supplier. :)
On a plus note I did like one of the designs from the first batch. The one with the Autobot and Decepticon face pattern.

I would like...
+ Transformers office work clothes e.g.: neck ties, leather belts w/ buckles (the current belt is too casual). Then I suppose it might be something beyond Jay Jays' market demographic.
+ Transformers clothes other than G1 and the movie. e.g.: G2, Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Robots In Disguise, Unicron Trilogy etc.
+ Transformers hats, scarves, socks, bags (backpacks), gloves, pants etc.
Thank you.

You shouldn't have left it until the last minute. The guy who is registered here is likely to only drop by when there are more items to be released, or asking for opinions/suggestions about something, so you probably won't get a reply from him for a while.
And you probably wouldn't have had the time to enter the competition in 10-15 minutes, because you need to register to their mailing list, activate it, and then go and fill out the entry form. If you were already on their mailing list, you probably would have had time, but I wonder how much before Midnight they updated the site to take the competition link off the front page. And the competition (page) may have still been running too, just no link on the main page.

its a bit of a trade off to get the price, licensing fees chew up a lot of $$ ! But have noted your feedback and will see if we can bulk up the stuff for next winter...

Cleaning out my phone's photo folder, found that I had these in there.
The window display at the store nearest me (I have been sent 3 of those giant posters, to give away - in a competition next week).
http://www.otca.com.au/a02.jpg
Another one of the t-shirts from that last batch that I didn't get a photo of, but found it at a Jayjays store in Sydney a few weeks ago.
http://www.otca.com.au/a03.jpg
And before I posted off the hoodies in the recent Ozformers competition, I took a photo of their zippers, because I think these were product samples with the special zippers that didn't make it to the finished product (they weren't on any of the ones I bought). So those lucky 3 or 4 people who won a hoodie from me, probably have the only ones ever made with a real TFs zipper on them.
They both have the letters 'T' and 'F' done in two different ways.
http://www.otca.com.au/a08.jpg
http://www.otca.com.au/a09.jpg
(At least the designers were really trying to put in some extra creative thought into these clothes, but it was probably some bean-counter or upper management deciding it wasn't worth the extra expense to have a unique zipper on the finished product :( )

I had a look at JayJays today to see what the regular zipper looked like (wearing my hoodie at the time, as it happened). It's a dull red zipper. Okay, so the normal hoodie isn't really sullied by that, but the "TF" zip is certainly cooler (:

Went to the Jay Jays in Southland yesterday too, heaps of new stocks of the hoodie:
1) White one with light blue prints of Autobot/Decepticon logo in all sizes (except XS)
2) White one with black prints of Prime and the Transformers word in all sizes
3) Black one with the purple Decepticon logo on front.
Can't recall if I saw some of the new designs too, pretty sure I did. Nothing new on the T-shirts though.
P.S: Saw the TFs zipper on my hoodie and didn't even realised it was an exclusive till I read about it. :p :o

Sorry to burst the bubbles Griff, but these zippers DID make their way all out to production. :) I had another check over the weekend, the white hoodie with light blue autobot/decepticon logo prints all had the special unique TF zippers on them.
