I really need help removing residue, kup advised me to use baby wipe=fail, is there some sort of chemical for this situation that won't remove paint and chrome that will actually do the job?

Kerosene, which is not as harsh as paint thinner. Try a minuscule amount of this. Rubbing Alcohol or Methylated Spirits also, but again I urge you to do a test patch before you wipe down your entire transformer.

Where is Methylated Spirits found? Also this figure was molded in the same color as is.

If it's paint the rubbing alcohol will take it off if you rub too hard.
Methylated spirits can be found in the supermarket.

I recently got g1 Buzzsaw and I got some Methylated spirits in the hinge from when I was cleaning it, it made one hinge stiffer and another hinge looser, why does that happen?

I never had problems with removing residue with baby wipes - You do understand that sometimes it just needs some persistence right? Also don't use a dry one.
