it appears that the KOers have been hard at work ripping off the new molds:

http://www.seibertron.com/news/view.php?id=12412&

There is what looks to be a 100% accurate Classics Astrotrain there, fortunately the packaging is radically different but I am curious to see what is on the DVD it comes with. This Astrtrain would be dangerous if sold loose.

The rest are easily spotted due to packaging, remolding and odd coloring.

Seibertron.com does not endorse the production, selling or trading of Knock Off Transformers, and as such will not be posting links to where these figures may be purchased.

Is that a new policy from them? Has Hasbro cracked down?

But wow the KOs just don't stop do they?

I think that this has been Seibertron's policy for some time now.

The website that actively promotes KOs and even has KO company representatives making post to give updates and coming products news is TFW2005

I've made four posts so far on Seibertron.com.
All of them insulting people. (Shout out to Saber Prime. Sorry about what I did to your dog dude)

Anyway...I posted that I would rather m********* with a cheese grater than cheapen my collection with KO's and that anybody that collected KO's deserved a job in a toxic Chinese factory working for 50 cents a day. (Think it was fifty cents...I may have been more generous)

I got sent a warning saying I wasn't to bag what anyone collected.

Anyone like to take bets on how long I will last before I'm banned from there?

Humour is not something Saber Prime and other dingbat members at Seibertron have in spades, they whinge straight away so I'd say not long.

As for the "no support for KO's" thing, everyone is free to do what they want, collect what they want but we just dont want people linking to KO Auctions and the like, especially seeing as many are not listed as KO's.

There are a lot of dumb people out there who would be likely to get a link to an auction from a KO thread, buy the product then complain that the product was inferior, and our link in some way endorsed the product.

that stuff is scary!!

imagine them without the packaging, you would be thinking and checking twice before picking up something on the 'bay.

I thank Griffin that we don't have any of those dodgy advertisements on our site!

^ ^ Yep yep.

I have been giving a serve to all the Mods at TFW2005 for being b*^&hes about promoting KO's.

that KO mp prime on "taobao" auction listing is a very good KO. It looks exactly like the authentic figure if not for the chrome faceplate.

Are some of these KO's assembled and painted in the same factory as the authentic ones? Then sold and repackaged differently for the black market? (some are pretty good KO's if you disregard tacky paint apps. and packaging)

nah bro. Look at the 2 figures standing side by side. They're both KO's. One is colored exactly like the MP-01 (except the chrome ) faceplate.
