More than ten new multiplayer characters including ultimate fan favorites such as G1 Starscream and movie favorites like Sideswipe.

Three new multiplayer maps.

Play new characters in both the Autobot and Decepticon single player campaigns.

New Expert difficulty mode with a fresh set of leaderboards to challenge more experienced gamers in the single-player campaigns.

New Achievements and Trophies to earn.


Specking for myself , All i care about most here is "Sideswipe" :cool:
and with this in mind i am now worried about the price.:(:confused:

If i remember correctly "Codemasters" ( seems Ironic having a company name like that if i have remembered correctly :D) dose to.

and by the looks of it you have to re-purchase the "cheats" everytime you delete your game save... as it changes a number which you must enter to get the cheats with.

But i agree, i think they are all really pushing it (no pun intended :D ) charging for cheats and things that are already on the disk etc..:mad::mad: and arn't made from scratch. "Which, i don't know if this DLC was or not?".:o

Back in the day, extra colours/cheats were something that you earned, not paid for...

this DLC business irritates me. Its like those extra costumes you an DL for SFIV, things like that used to be free, now you have to pay for them? I already paid for the BLOODY GAME!!!!:mad::mad::mad:

Sheesh, charging for downloads that should have been included in the game to begin with. I loath to think what insidious little plan they will come up with next to milk us games of all our hard earned money. :(

As for the download, there is some nice stuff there like Sideswipe, but it will probably end up being overpriced. Shame really cause the game has ended up more enjoyable than I originally thought.

Yes. The Xbox Live store generally does not take down downloadable game contents as they don't take up physical store shelves. The downloadable contents for the 2007 Movie 1 game are still available.

Some of the free contents (video previews, trailers, video coverage of events) do get taken down from time to time though.

I hired the PS3 version, pretty bad. As much as I love TF's beating up the sames drones and doing the same basic missions as each side gets annoying real quick. At least the online was ok, but being in Aus means lots of lag and that can frustrating as well. If you want this game you should really hire or borrow it before you buy.

came, out to be $12.0564808 Australian dollars...
so IMO i expect it to be in the $10 (minimum) - $19 (maximum) Range

Haven't played the decepticon characters yet, but a G1 Screamer and Megatron especially should be interesting since he turns into a gun...

Yes, that is correct. I had a bash just then. G1 Megs takes place of Megatron (flight mode). Which I have only been able to use in the last Decepticon mission, anyone know how to use anywhere else?

Sunstorm and Starscream (G1) are both pretty cool, Stars special is a G1 Megs in gun mode blast. Movie Soundwave is good fun as well, you can launch a little rumble drone out of his chest that pounds the ground for destruction. Handy for the "destroy building" missions, as the deone will pound away until the building is gone, leaving SW to concentrate on the Autobots. Thats all the decepticons I have discovered.

Autobots get most of the goodies. G1 colour Ratchet, Stealth Bumblebee, 1st Movie Jazz, Sideswipe (and G1 clours Sideswipe) and G1 Optimus are what I have found.

The G1 are pretty good. Op makes the Tfing noise and when you super jump, little rockets fire from the front grill just like the scene from the G1 Movie:D. Its a nice touch :rolleyes: (pun intended) Sideswipe doesnt run as fast as I thought he wold, but still fun. Jazz is a friggin pocket rocket. Very fast and he has a speed up skill. Nice bit of TFing animation as well with him spinning around. Be interesting to see Jazz in multiplayer, he may be a little too strong...

Can't free roam with the DL chars though, not until I finish completely? I have only finished Decep Campaign at the moment. I like to look at the models without getting blasted to scrap.

I hear ya, as someone who also bought the PC version I'm very unhappy with the overall lack of support it has gotten. No DLC, the gamma is off and apparently quite a few people have problems getting the game to actually run. I'm presuming the people who ported the game to PC are a bunch of lazy downgrades...

IMO just above Meh, as i got Sideswipe and Jazz ...:)
( Jazz, is a tough little fighter in "online multiplayer" mode and i consider myself to be a rank amateur ;))

Though, i wish they were? "both" available in all the Autobot ground missions in single player though .:);)

Have to find out where each one can be used, its a bit annoying, going to certain levels to practise with a specifi character. I Like the Skydive paint scheme though!!

IMO about the skins, It is really annoying "how" they implemented those in Multiplayer....:mad:
As, how can a character with the same abilities "be" considered a different character type and take up one of the 4 slots just for a skin.

And i really wish, they could of implemented a switch skin button like in Singleplayer instead of what we have now.:(

You didn't cancel the autosave by any chance? I pressed 0 instead of x on ghostbusters and almost had a heart attack when it didn't register my almost complete game, a quick reboot later and I was away.

You could always try downloading and installing the add-on again, it can be easily accessed from the dl-ed bit at the top of the PSN shop screen. Aside from that, I dunno...

I think I got the game from the UK (via ebay) some friends of mine have a video store so they said I could borrow their copy of ROTF so I'll see if that works.

Genrally the UK games are exactly the same as we get here, due to the PAL-y-ness of Aust & UK, so theoretically that shouldn't be a problem.

I got a UK Batman and it worked fine with the DL content for that.
