Leader Bulkhead? I'm so there!

...Deluxe Bulkhead looks fine to me. More show-like too IMO.

I agree there gok.

Looks like Leader there has been stuffed full of crapola gimmicks. I will have a go on someone else's, but stick with the deluxe thanks.

Apparently the leader one is how he'll look later in the show, and apparently has some sort of head master gimmick or something. Anyway, I reckon the leader one looks better, much more detailed.

I will probably fork out for the Leader class figure for the better size with the deluxes and the "headmaster" total ownage (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqzOmIGhXKU) factor (although I don't really like this gimmik).

I really like both the Leader Bulkhead and leader Megatron (earth mode). I think these are the best sizes for them... those 2 seem to be the biggest ones in the cartoon (although I'm sure Megs is much bigger). I think they will display nicely - towering over the other voyager and deluxe figures.

I'm not too keen on the images I've seen of Leader Optimus though! Might have to wait and see, but the Voyager Optimus looks much better IMO.

Does anyone know if the 'leader Megatron' figure is the only one they're making in his earth mode?

:)

OOOOOOO Headmaster you say? I am always a sucker for a bit of headmaster action!

I don't like the Leader Prime. Looks kinda plain. I am not confident that these figures justify such large size (Thinks back to Supreme Cheetoe and Sup CYB STarscream...) I guess, Megatron and Bulkhead are ok, but I hope that Megs comes in Voyager/Ultra size for that cool helicopter. Love the sword!!

Gonna be getting me some Cybertronian and earthen mode love!:D

Deluxe Bulkhead is definitely more show-like and slick!

:)As far as I'm concerned, colouring, detail and size are all in the favour of Leader Bulkhead but I will get both of these big green monkeys:D.

I think the Deluxe is the standard Bulkhead, while the Leader Class is what Bulkhead looks like after "The Headmaster" episode (#13).

So we have a toy in the largest size class, based on the events that could just be in one single episode... that's not very intelligent marketting by Hasbro.
The big expensive toys need all the promoting they can get to make them move (especially in Australia with our twice-US-pricing), so this might be one shelf-warmer in TF Animated.
Don't get me wrong, I like the gimmick (in the youtube link), but is that one gimmick worth paying out AU$100+ for when there will be a AU$50 Bulkhead available as well?

so is the smaller Bulkhead a Deluxe or a Voyager? I'm hearing conflicting reports here...

Voyager (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-images/events/Toy-Fair-2008/Official-Hasbro-Images/TRANSFORMERS/ANIMATED/Animated+Voyager+scale/)

A deluxe version has been announced but I don't think there are any images yet.

Again hasbro brings out the BIGBOTS (with expensive pricetags) gimmick on us..... before you guys buy into this ALWAYS look back on what HAsbro has offered us size-wise - lame leader size Movie brawl, Super huge size Cybertron King Starcream or that big kitty cat that cant even stand. Now they're a lot of fun aren't they:rolleyes::rolleyes: just something to think before you fork out your hard earned cash.

Here's a pic of Voyager Animated Prime next to Bulkhead and Bumblebee...

Personally, I think Bulkhead is far too small compared to the cartoon. This is the reason why I think the Leader size Bulkhead will look better displayed next to the others IMO!

I don't think we've actually seen any pics of Leader Prime yet. Aren't the ones in that link of the self-transforming supreme-sized Prime, ie Animated's answer to Ultimate Bumblebee? I think the self-transforming gimmick is probably why he looks like such a brick. Hopefully the Leader Prime is a lot better.
